I've stopped my pink floral sewing
to make a few
March decorations.
☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
I thought it might be fun
to do a little bit of decorating
for St. Patty's Day
and add a little green
to the living room.
☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
I have 12 to 14 ladies
at my house every Friday
so it's nice to have coasters made
and things sitting around
that are seasonal.
If I continue doing this,
one of these days
I'll have a box full
of all different seasonal
coasters, mug rugs and
little decorations that
I can put out each year.
☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
I hope you enjoy the post
and that it inspires you to
add a little green
to your house this month.
☘️☘️☘️
May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm up on your face,
The rain falls soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hands.
☘️☘️☘️
God bless you all.
You're blogging sister,
Connie

Connie, I love your blog! You are so talented!
ReplyDeleteThank you, you are so sweet to think and say that 🤗☘️
DeleteWhat lovely ways to celebrate St Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeleteJust some simple coasters to set out for hot mugs of coffee or tea. I had them scattered about my living room anyway, so it's fun to make some that are festive for the holidays and season.
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by.
The coasters are lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you ☘️
DeleteHow cute are those coasters?? I love how you can just "whip things up" like that. I can do that with food, but not with sewing or crafts!
ReplyDeletePeople are always saying about me, but believe me it doesn't feel like I'm just whipping them out. It takes a lot of measuring and figuring out what I'm going to do.
DeleteI must confess I don't pay attention to St Patrick's Day. I will look at the thrift store for inexpensive decorations.
ReplyDeleteI like your mug rugs. Your sewing machine seems to work magic.
The 17th is my youngest GD's birthday so that overshadows the old saint.
You bet, granddaughters are very special 🥰 put her first every time. If I didn't have these ladies coming to my house every week I probably wouldn't do as much seasonal things as I do, but I do have to admit it's kind of fun.
Deleteyes, Connie and her sewing machine are definitely a creative duo♥ Love her holiday ideas! Keep creating, Connie and thanks for the inspiration.
DeleteI love it when my blog can inspire another blogger to try one of my ideas. I know that I get inspired by others all the time.
DeleteConnie, I love all of your beautiful decorations. The coasters are perfect. I like to do the same things with decorations. Just a few for each holiday. It's fun isn't it?
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
It is fun and I know my Bible study group appreciates the little details to celebrating the seasons.
DeleteSounds like a nice weekly group - and I love the coasters.
ReplyDeleteThanks 🥰☘️
DeleteLooks good. I love your coasters. I haven't put anything out this year for St. Patricks day. I normally decorate for every holiday but I haven't done anything since I took down the Christmas stuff.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I only put out a little bit because it's too much work to take it down. It's always fun to decorate for something but it's never fun to take it all down and pack it away.
DeleteI love those coasters-they are adorable- and I have to get busy and make some more myself. I bought a new sewing machine the first week in December and I have not even had the time to thread it yet. Hubby has moved home from Assisted Living and life is up in the air again. Sewing has always relaxed me so I hope to get back to it soon. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteOh I hope that you can get it out and start sewing soon. But I definitely know how hard it is when your loved one needs care and you're the one to be there 24/7 ready to give it. It can be consuming, we don't realize it when it's happening but can certainly drain you of all other energy.
DeleteHello :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit. You seem like a multi-talented person. Your coasters are lovely-
How sweet, thank you ☺️☘️
DeleteI forgot all about St. Patrick's day! Thank you for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome ☘️☘️☘️
DeleteThank you for the reminder! I have been so busy I just plain forgot.
ReplyDeleteTime seems to just be flying by doesn't it. And it's hard to remember everything especially something as simple as a little holiday. We remember the big ones 🥰
DeleteI love these coasters and your decor. You are talented!
ReplyDeleteYou're just sweet, thank you 🥰
DeleteThose are cute shamrock coasters. Such a great idea! You are very clever and get things done!
ReplyDeleteI just like to make things a little festive ☺️
DeleteLove the things you made, how wonderful to have a nice group of ladies come by every week.
ReplyDeleteI have finally taken down all my valentine things and have done a good cleaning, tomorrow I will start putting up my Easter decorations :)
Easters not too far away ✝️. Having these ladies here every week is great incentive for me to not get lazy on keeping the house clean, LOL
DeleteI thought I'd drop in to look at your craftwork blog this morning . 😃Beautiful St Patrick's Day decorations , love it ! 💚 I also have some Irish blood in me 🍀☘️🍀☘️
ReplyDeleteAnother thing we have in common 🤗
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by. ☘️
Very cute, Connie! How nice to have friends gather in your home and to be cheered by fun decor!
ReplyDeleteI have some of the most lovely friends. Here in town and in blog-land ☺️☘️
DeleteVery nice I love what you create!
ReplyDeleteThank you 😊
DeleteConnie, all of your decorations are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe coasters turned out so lovely.
Everything feels so cheerful and welcoming.
Thank you. I just visited your blog and discovered your new favorite sandwich made in Madrid. It looked good enough to give it a taste and then make a decision. 😁
