The sides of the shelves looked like old glass doors or maybe windows. The pic I found shows it from the front. I pinned it to my Awesome Decor board if you go to my Pinterest boards and the link is below. I'm hoping hubby will make them for me but his list is miles long so I don't know... I also pinned a cute little greenhouse with legs to my Gardens, Yard Art & More board. That said, search "old window ideas" and you get lots and lots of great ones!

Also, for some reason, I don't have your email address but if you'll reply to this comment to my email, I will have it and I can send you the side view of the shelves via email if you're interested. I tried to insert the pic into this comment but I wasn't able to do it. In fact that was my first idea. Then I started thinking about the lead paint and worrying about in getting mixed into the soil and what that might do, after time. Brain damage is not something we need around here, or the worry about. What do you think on that subject? I don't want a pile of junk on our property. We just finished hauling off eight or ten truck loads of junk that the previous owners left behind. Then there is the crafting side of the story. I would feel bad if I got rid of them and then there was this amazing window project, just around the corner:) I've decided to hang on to them until spring and see what kind of projects I can come up with. Thanks for your feedback, I truly appreciate hearing from all of you sweet blogging sisters. They can be glued on to the glass windows with rubber adhesive or silicone in a tube from the hardware store. Gorgeous to hang from a widow in the porch or patio or to sell. However I can see the attraction of turning them into something pretty cool and creative. I think you'd maybe regret letting them go right now. Have fun.
