The nice thing about a neutral color like gray is that you can accessorize with just about any color you want, so that will make it fun to make changes whenever you have the inclination to change things up. Anyway, I think you did a great job, and since I've already seen what you do after this with the blue and white sink skirt and curtain trim, I think you're on the right track. And, as you say, it's only paint and you can always change it if you don't like it. Have fun! As much as I love color, I have to say the light gray of your cabinets is absolutely lovely. I think it looks the best of all your paint color choices over the years. If you decide you're missing the yellow, you could always just bring in yellow accents in your kitchen through decor or you could paint just the island yellow. xoxoMelaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08659968511488397366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-39137528681026739442021-02-21T10:23:40.811-08:002021-02-21T10:23:40.811-08:00I think the yellow was cheery but I do like the gr...I think the yellow was cheery but I do like the gray! I also love the pops of red! they show up better now.. and you could add more red here and there, like a red cookie jar or canisters, etc. Your pretty curtains and front of sink curtain look great too.. did you make some new ones? I wish I loved painting. I need our kitchen cabinets all painted white! I just don't enjoy painting at all for some reason and it seems like too big of a project to tackle. I did do some painting around our wood stove area.. wanted to show it on my blog but not done so guess I'll wait. It may never get done! I'm good at starting something but not finishing. I'm afraid I'd get one kitchen cupboard done and the rest would stay brown. I love your snow views out the windows... I think snow is also calming and makes the home feel so much cozier.
