Doesn't it seem like there is always another job waiting right around the corner? I've found that inviting company always fuels my energy tank to get things done, that other wise might take me longer to do, LOL. Are you like that? I took one picture yesterday, but like you, I won't show it until it's cleaned up. I'm working on it heavily right now as I might be hosting Thanksgiving and I'd like a place the kids could go hang out. Around here we actually have a snowy winter (one that stays on the ground) about every ten years. Therefore; our winters are mostly brown and dead looking . . . a bit depressing. I'm planing on spending most of those days out in the Art Barn quilting. If I can't have a colorful garden, I'll make colorful quilts to brighten my brown winter, LOL. Your photos are all gorgeous and love the bright fall colors.. the pumpkins, the mums, your beautiful yard and fence. It does look so improved since your tall grass photo! And I know how much work it must have been too. How neat to have your "well house" to store your vegetables! I just picked the last of my green tomatoes and will wrap them in paper and put them in a dark spot.. and then will have fresh tomatoes for Thanksgiving! Your garden is so pretty all cleaned up for the winter... mine still sits there looking very neglected and frozen... just haven't had time to go out and clean it up.. but will one of these days when we get a nice sunny day... we've had rain and clouds for a good week now here in central Oregon! It's OK... gives me some time for crafting... and to heal also from being sick the first of the month. You take care now.. rest... drink your tea and cuddle up with a quilt. The flowers and the fence is looking great! I always love pumpkins and your porch is a favorite of mine! I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well but glad you're on the mend! Take care my friend! I've still not posted yet but maybe soon. The hurricane hit our area hard! We were out of power for 7 days. The water didn't flood us but we were stranded because of flooded roads. It was a real mess! Getting back to normal now though but some completely lost everything. Feeling blessed! The kids have all had upper respiratory infections- lots of coughing here but they're getting better slowly but surely. Thankfully my husband and I didn't get it.
