You will soon be better than ever and the next thing I'll hear is that you're taking tango lessons :) As for the stains in my vintage pillowcases I used Chorlox2, I rubbed it into them and let them stand for about 15 minutes before washing. Enjoying life, family and friends is much more important than sitting in front of the computer. This is what I did to get my stains out. I put Clorox2 on the strains and rubbed it into them and let stand for about 15 minutes before washing. It worked great:) One of the stains I rubbed so hard that I made a hole . . . but that's okay . . . they're vintage and you don't expect them to be perfect. I love having vintage pillowcases on my bed along with sun dried sheets. I don't do the 'following' thing, but will be checking your blog often, as I see that you, like me, are into thrifting and handcrafting:) Those are quite the finds you got, love the embroidery. Often it is quite easy to clean and restore things to their former beauty, and then you have a real treasure. One of my best buys was a king size down duvet that had been relegated to the 'moving blankets' bin, because it was all brown and stained. It was 50 cents. I washed it with vinegar and finished drying it on the clothes line. It came out nice and white and we used it on the bed all winter.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08938874724231860923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-18500756620029970402015-07-28T10:10:36.503-07:002015-07-28T10:10:36.503-07:00blasts from the past for me!! my mom did that type...blasts from the past for me!! my mom did that type of needlework, doilies, pillowcases and shirts. as i look at these pieces of art, they are artwork, i think about who may have stitched them, who they were made for?? i am also so happy that someone appreciated them enough to NOT throw them out.

the quilt also brought back memories, from my days of quilting, when my babies were babies!!! it's a beauty!!!!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16823369215793154260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-67804329672894531062015-07-28T09:32:26.858-07:002015-07-28T09:32:26.858-07:00Hi Connie!

I used Clorox2, they came out and without fading any of the embroidery. I love them on the bed and plan on using them, not hiding them away on a shelf.
