It is my one talent, and I hope I never grow too old to enjoy it. My husband has been watching me look through your blog, and he's always interested in where a person lives. When we saw the snow, he said, "she's not from HERE !" No, we don't have snow yet, but with having to get him to his treatments, we are thankful for that this year. I don't post as often as I used to, but you're welcome to come around whenever you like.Dollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01538342558750190865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-68007783614490857192016-12-16T10:25:03.898-08:002016-12-16T10:25:03.898-08:00Thank you sweet friend :)Thank you sweet friend :)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-43394776108161780082016-12-16T10:24:45.774-08:002016-12-16T10:24:45.774-08:00Thanks . . . they do look cozy don't they? Thanks . . . they do look cozy don't they?Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-74909607298174591652016-12-16T10:24:14.415-08:002016-12-16T10:24:14.415-08:00I know it looks like they would be little frozen b...I know it looks like they would be little frozen birdie icicles. The birdhouses look so pretty with snow on the roof. Hopefully the little birdies are taking refuge inside those bird houses. As I sit here looking out my living room window, there's about 10 sparrows sitting on the fence (there's a bird feeder nearby) and the bitter winds and snow are howling and flying. I don't know how the birds can stand it! Guess their feathers are built-in insulation.Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08659968511488397366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-80688706648251896102016-12-13T10:01:39.692-08:002016-12-13T10:01:39.692-08:00Last spring I put one of those electric fireplaces...Last spring I put one of those electric fireplaces in the barn. It was one that we had in our living room at our other house and was just stuck in the corner of our little office room here, not being used. I scooted it to the porch and then onto the cart that I pull behind the garden tractor and off to the barn. So, this winter I am enjoying having it going out there. It puts out heat, but most of all it adds so much coziness. It makes the little barn so homey:) Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-46107073727505362012016-12-13T09:55:15.311-08:002016-12-13T09:55:15.311-08:00I'm delighted you like the birdhouses . . . th...I'm delighted you like the birdhouses . . . they are a lot of fun. I used to do that when I had 5 acres up in SW Washington.... love walking around my sister's property in La Pine as she has an acre and SO MANY little birdhouses, wagon wheels, fences, wagons, garden art, etc. Now that I live in town though, it's just not as much fun (with the camera).
