I absolutely love the way you are able to take something that needs a little improvement and make it really cool. That’s exactly what you’ve done with the drain pad. Honestly, you are an inspiration! And, Connie, I just want to say thank you so much for the super kind words you left for me on my latest blog post. I’m sure you will know this from your years of blogging … Occasionally someone will leave a comment that really strikes a home run as comments go. They are comments that will stick with you and encourage you. Your comment was exactly that way. So, thank you again. I’m sending you wishes for a great week ahead. Blessings to you! I used to only have one big sink so did have a pad on the side to drain dishes.. and it always got old pretty fast. What a good idea to just cover it. I DID make some new pillow covers to use over my Christmas pillows... so I guess that is making something old into something new to use for a different decor??? If I had more counter space in my kitchen, I WOULD have a dish pad too, as seems like i'm always rinsing something off and need room to just set it on the counter to dry (this was when I didn't have a dishdrainer in my sink). You make me want to make some pretty new hot pads to hang up and match my kitchen! You are such a busy bee! xoxo MarilynMarilyn McLeod @ Pink Paper Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13166022624714254716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-61310830410934315242022-08-13T12:39:42.930-07:002022-08-13T12:39:42.930-07:00Hi Connie, wanted to Thank You for coming by and ...Hi Connie, wanted to Thank You for coming by and for all your affirming comments. We too, think the Lord might just be
around the corner, but it's like you say it will be in his timing not ours. We are sure praying that, as I am sure many others
are too. I really love those dish pad drainers cause they are much easier to store away when not in use. We love Pioneer woman too, and her towels are very pretty as many of her other items. Did you know she is on a new show, we just watched
it last night and really enjoyed it. It is on the discovery channel and is called "Big bad budget meals" or something like
that. Think you would probably enjoy it too. Hope you have a lovely weekend, Blessings, NellieNellie's Cozy Placehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14619797669030115088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-74892606057601535622022-08-13T11:56:31.837-07:002022-08-13T11:56:31.837-07:00I love it Connie. I usually use a dish drainer thing now, however, since we don't have a dishwasher and I have to wash all the dishes, my dish drain pads just couldn't hold them all. But that is still a great idea. Would also make a good hot pad to set hot casseroles on the counter or at a pot luck dinner. Pamela M.
