Some of my crafting things I put into our big moving sale and some I packed and brought to your new place. My trouble is I can't remember what I got rid of and what I kept, so I spend time hunting, LOL. We lived in our old house (newer than this one) for thirty three years and I accumulated a lot of stuff. After weeks of packing and unpacking, I just got tried and started hauling things to the yard for our big sale. After the sale we donated what was left to the Senior Citizens Center . . . there was a moving van full of leftovers. It felt so freeing, but I have missed a few of the things that I tossed out. I hope they all found good homes, LOL.
Do come back, I will be posting my finished chair on my next post.
Have a great day!
Connie :)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-6161970145313120392015-07-04T07:10:04.984-07:002015-07-04T07:10:04.984-07:00Lovely art barn! I love watermelons!!! Your flowers are all so pretty, and the beautiful butterfly too. The new chair project is exciting, and I look forward to seeing what you do with it on top of the white base coat. Your country cottage is always so full of interest and fun! With each visit I feel as if I have trotted down the road for a visit! You and I could sit and chat over a nice cup of tea in the sunshine! I am so glad you are finding time for a bit of self-indulgence to paint your toenails lol! So pretty!

Thank you for your lovely visit and your sweet comment. Yesterday's treatment was similar to #2 in that I felt the effects while it was still being infused, and I've felt pretty rough since, but not as bad as last time since they reduced the dose - I was even able to spend an hour or two in the studio this a.m. and finished a card I'd started a couple of days ago, using some of my new masterboard. Once the glue is dry, it can be posted. Very pleased with the result! I'm glad you like my new stamps. I'm not as organised as I'd like, yet - as you probably find with your wonderful Craft Barn, there's always more you can do to make it easier to work in! The trouble is, I'm such a messy worker, and should be more disciplined about putting things away so that I can find them!

Have a great weekend.
ShoshiShoshihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00028185699225457125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-37219620336347621922015-07-04T06:40:04.718-07:002015-07-04T06:40:04.718-07:00I love summer foot wear, I do have to be careful b...I love summer foot wear, I do have to be careful because my heels came become very crackled in the summer. Our hot dry climate doesn't help with that. Tonight is the 4th and there will be fireworks everywhere. We will be staying home with sprinkles going along the back of our property. The property behind us has not been being watered and has got knee high dry dead grass . . . perfect for spreading a fire. This is a year that we will be happy to see the fourth come and go, because after the fourth it is unlawful to shoot fireworks. Most people that have any leftover, save them for New Years Eve. As for us we do not buy them or shoot them off . . .but save it for the fire department in town, where it is supervised. We do set out on the porch and watch the skies . . . I still enjoy seeing them and think that they are pretty, but every year there are bad fires started because of them and sometimes people loose there homes. When I was a kid, all fireworks were limited to the town parks. The way it should be.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-24169484552162631882015-07-04T06:26:19.913-07:002015-07-04T06:26:19.913-07:00Thank you . . .oh, and I am having fun with the ch...Thank you . . .oh, and I am having fun with the chair . . . it will be my next post:)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-87395766122711571592015-07-04T01:09:56.003-07:002015-07-04T01:09:56.003-07:00Wow, you have an art barn? I just don't want to loose anything. There are so many yards and fields around here that are so dry and dead, that the fireworks that people shoot off are a real concern. They have banded the shooting of them in the city limits, but we are about a half mile out of the limits. I know there will be field fires this year . . . I just want my yard green; I'm hoping that will help :)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-43594410960498185782015-07-03T18:56:36.272-07:002015-07-03T18:56:36.272-07:00Hi Connie.. what a tidy and productive garden you ...Hi Connie.. what a tidy and productive garden you have! I'm ...Hi Vicky, Happy 4th of July to you, too! I'm excited about my chair, I have wanted to try painting a fabric chair for a long time now, but never found one that I would want to do it on. I love zinnias and last year I read where your vegetable gardens do better when you have zinnias and sunflowers planted in the garden or near by. The bees have a ball pollinating between the flowers and the veggies. I've found that zinnias hold up very well in vases too. I've had a bouquet last for two weeks before needing to be throw out. Thanks for stopping by, I love reading your posts and comments.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-30756011154570901862015-07-03T17:29:06.049-07:002015-07-03T17:29:06.049-07:00Such a fun and happy post!
