You know the old saying, "The grass is greener on the other side of the fence". I know that I tend to do just that . . . blogging has helped me to see more clearly; when I grab my camera I really look and appreciate my surroundings more. Other wise all I see is old dried up sagebrush :)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-83545467017047237412013-11-20T07:41:45.957-08:002013-11-20T07:41:45.957-08:00Hi Melanie, I have wondered how they got it there,...Hi Melanie, I have wondered how they got it there, too. It has been there for as long as I remember. That state park is a 45 minute drive from your house, or I would be walking it all the time. It is beautiful isn't it? My daughter and I use to have a little tradition of going up there is September after the summer vacationers had left the park. We would pack a watermelon, rent a paddle boat and go swimming. The park was always so empty, it was like we had it all to ourselves :)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-83685110753030388652013-11-20T06:20:43.908-08:002013-11-20T06:20:43.908-08:00I loved this trip Connie and thanks for sharing yo...I loved this trip Connie and thanks for sharing your day. As you might know from my blog, I have a state park right by my house, too. I love walking there. That is really interesting how there's a train caboose in the park. Here in Norfolk we awoke to a heavy frost, but it is one of those crisp, sunny, blue-skied days which is very conducive to a brisk trot along woodland trails. Sadly, I shall be trotting around town as I have an appointment there, but nevertheless I will enjoy the clean air and sunshine. Love those photographs, Connie, and see, I have already had my morning stroll with you and all your lovely readers!!
