I have out of state company this week and maybe next week too . . . so I wouldn't have time for making my banner for a while. I'm glad you agree that they are too pretty to use as a coaster . . . let's get creative, sister :)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9136180253380173794.post-35810957399612394232018-06-06T20:16:07.616-07:002018-06-06T20:16:07.616-07:00Connie, this is such a wonderful month isn't i...Connie, this is such a wonderful month isn't it? Everything there is in such gorgeous bloom! My poor raspberries aren't doing much so far this year, darn it. I think I might have pruned them too much! I too got those coasters from Boys Town and thought, hum.m.m.m don't want to set a wet glass on these. Now that you mention it, there are many things a person could do with these! I'm thinking either frame them, 4 in a frame, or could put mod podge on them to protect them, or maybe mount each one on a little canvas and then decorate it up for a wall hanging. How fun! Hope you get to spend many days this summer in that hammock! I had one as a little girl and us kids used to love playing in it and tipping each other out! Happy June! Line dried sheets are a sweet memory for me too. That is the reason I wanted a clothesline when we moved to the country. Bedding is about the only thing that I ever hang outside to dry, but they smell so sweet when dried by the sun that we loved it. Wish I was your neighbor cause I know youll be sharing your garden bounty with them again this year. Enjoy your afternoon nap on your hammock! Your new pitcher is so pretty (what a lovely gift!) and is perfect for flowers. Oh, how I wish we had a bigger piece of land with trees so that we could have a hammock! I know you can buy the free-standing ones, but it's just not the same. And we have a VERY small backyard where all the neighbors can see us, so there's no privacy anyway. Great find on the quilt rack! And no, I have not received the coasters in the mail from Boys Town.
