Look At What My Sweet Hubby Built Me

Saturday my Sweet Steve says,
"You know that shelf you have been wanting . . .
let's go buy the wood and I'll build it"

 We got the wood Saturday
and by evening he had it built :)

Sunday afternoon he installed it . . .
and I started painting.

Here it is with the island rolled back
into the kitchen.

Now I have a place to display all of my
vintage kitchen collections.

Some are thrift shop finds
and some are gifts . . .

All are loved and add to the coziness
of our 1905 country home.

I love how it turned out . . .
and that my sweetie spent his Saturday,
do this for me.

I'm truly blessed.

Keep Smiling!

Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

  11. Your husband is almost as nice as mine! smile. I actually have to ask him NOT to build anything else because there's no room left in the house! He did buy a lathe on the weekend so that should keep him busy now.
I like all your vintage items so well arranged too.
