Two New Weekend Projects

A little jar to hold my zinnias :)

 A little white paint . . .

A little red paint :)

Many of you already know the polka dot trick,

use the eraser from a pencil,

like a rubber stamp.

Simple :)

 I can't remember what I paid 

for this old ironing board,

but I know it was $2 or $3

at a yard sale this spring.

 I dry brushed it with white paint.

 Then I stenciled and . . .

painted on lettering

and took the sandpaper and hammer to it

in order to give it a distressed look. 

 Here it is in our mudroom/laundryroom. 

Now on to something else . . .

I love having a project :)
