Happy Valentie's Day

Today's post is my valentine

to all of you . . .

I've gone through my archives

and found projects with hearts . . .

like these many banners from years

gone by :)

This is a windmill we purchased

for our 40th anniversary.

And this is the base Steve

made for it :)

Next I found pot holders

dish towels, mug rugs & quilt labels.

Many journal pages . . .

I don't know why I quit drawing

it does provide much enjoyment.

This is "sharpie art" that I

did on my first guitar.

These two hearts and the photo

below this one, are hearts that I made

after seeing a tutorial on

Nana Diana's Blog,

Nana Diana Takes A Break

many years ago.

https://thenanadiana.blogspot.com/2017/01/i-heart-you-i-heard-you-heres-tutorial.html

A chair that I painted.

This post is so long . . .

I'm going to stop with some embroidery

and an apron made from

and old pair of jeans.

If you are still here

all that I can say is,

"Bless Your Heart!"

Thank you for following my blog

it has been a source of love and friendship

and you all hold a warm spot in my heart.

God bless you . . .

If you are blessed to still have your

Sweetheart near you

give him a huge hug  . . .

(or her . . . I do have two gentlemen

that follow my blog)

and then thank our Sweet Lord,

because you are blessed 💝

Your blogging sister,

Connie :)

P.S. Again, Happy Valentine's Day!

  6. What a delightful post for Valentines Day. You have made so many banners over the years and they're all so pretty.
Thanks for the tip about Lemon Balm. In my garden it self-sows everywhere so I should have no trouble potting some up ( once the ground has thawed. I hope you have a great week.

  8. Hi CONNIE - you have done a nice post for Valentines...Although my Chris and I have been together 45 years we don't seem to do Valentines at all - guess we look out for each other all the time. My Chris is coming up to her 73rd Birthday in September - we'll have to do something special then. Best Wishes to you Connie. Regards. KEV.

  10. Hello Connie:
I love to read and see your projects. Your home looks so inviting and like such a happy place! With all the terrible things going on in the world at the moment, I turn to your posts to give me a moment of peace and happiness. I can't sew a stitch and am not creative but love to see projects by creative people.

  11. Happy Valenties Day Connie. As always, I am so impressed with your beautiful, beautiful crafts. I can't believe the wonderful things that you are able to make with the skills that God has blessed you with. I think all of the beautiful banners, clothes etc. are so nice. I wish I had an ounce of your drawing skills.
My heart goes out to you on this day we celebrate love. I know that Steve is in Heaven looking down on you with all of his love and knows how much you still love him. Dennis and I have never really celebrated Valentine's Day, but I know he loves me and after 44 years together, I know he loves me.
    Blessings and huge hugs,
    Betsy

  13. Oh Connie! I so enjoyed looking at all of your heart projects! I love all of your banners.. and love the fabric hearts with the frayed edges and vintage ladies! Oh so sweet! It was so neat seeing the quilt label you made in 2013 for Steve.. and didn't know your middle name is Rose! What a pretty middle name. I think it was your jean apron that inspired me to make a jean purse for my sister a few years ago. She still uses it all the time! I put ruffles on it and a doily on the pocket. Your painted chair is just adorable, and your artwork in the journals is exquisite! don't stop doing that! You are SO artistic and the paintings and drawings are just so "you". You could place that in an Etsy shop and sell it as digitals! Just sayin'...... I love your picture at the end too. So nice "seeing" you! Have a good day... I hope your Steve gives you a whisper kiss today. Hugs.. Marilyn
