Hello Dear Friends,
I just want to share my
latest quilt.
Here it is in the planning.
And the adjusting.
And here it is ready
to be sandwiched
with batting and backing.
Then the quilting begins :)
I had to take a photo
at this angle, just to see
what it would look like
to make it on point.
I also received this package today.
All the way from Kentucky.
If you love fabric and have not looked
into Hancock's Of Paducah
Then you must check them out.

Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
I love the new quilt! You are awesome! Thanks for the link for Hancock's! I suspect I will be using it a lot!
ReplyDeleteGrace & Peace,

Hi Connie! Your new quilt is so pretty! Love the colors! And the new fabrics......wow. I can see who's in the mood for spring! I was in the mood to sew something the other day, and since all of my fabrics are packed away, was going to go to the quilt shop here, but they were closed! But today, that mood has passed! Oh well. I'm paper crafting today. I sure would like to get my UFOs done! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteDear friend, your paper crafting is amazing. You put so much detail and so much of your heart into every piece. I know you must truly enjoy doing it or your work wouldn't be so lovely.
DeleteYour quilt is pretty and cheerful! I like the colors. And just think what fun you'll have with that new batch of fabric.
ReplyDeleteI love new fabric. I don't have anything specific planned, just letting my imagination go wild.
DeleteYour quilt looks really grand. You must be pleased with how it is coming together.
ReplyDeleteI love the happy colours in the fabric you have chosen. Have fun with your sewing :)
Thanks, it should be a lot of fun getting it all quilted. This one I'm going to quilt on my sewing machine, not by hand.
DeleteI think that planning a new quilt and choosing the fabrics must be such fun. Receiving the parcel with the gorgeous material would be like Christmas morning when we were children 💗 I'm so happy for you and the joy you have in creating lovely quilts.
ReplyDeleteGetting a bundle of new fabric is always fun, and especially when you find it on sale :)
DeleteNew fabrics are a great motivation to start a project. Love the colours in your latest quilt.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I have to hang on to new fabrics for a while before I know what I'm going to do with them. I normally don't buy them for a project. I just buy them because I think they're pretty. Then I figure out what I'm going to make with them.
DeleteWhat a beautiful quilt. Another blogger I follow gets lots of fabric from that company.
ReplyDeleteThank you and yes this is a wonderful company to do business with. I purchased a lot of my fabric through them.
DeleteLovely quilt and what a wonderful package! I have a terrible weakness for fabrics - so much fun.
ReplyDeleteHaving a package filled with new fabric arrive, just makes my heart sing.
DeleteConnie, I am always in awe of your industry! You produce so many beautiful quilts.....I'm still struggling to finish one! Your fabrics are very inspiring, I love to have new fabrics.
ReplyDeleteDear friend I may do a lot of quilting but there are other things that I struggle with as well. Projects that I start and that take me forever to finish. It all depends on time and inspiration.
DeleteNew fabric is so much fun!
The aquas and grays are very pretty together in the quilt! I love fabric even though I don't quilt so I'll look at that shop! Thanks for sharing and have a blessed Sunday! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteYou might find some pretty camping theme fabric to make throw pillows or to trim out dish towels for your camper.
DeleteThat's a nice quilt top you have made. And receiving a parcel of lovely quilting fabric - how exciting! Do you have plans for your new acquisition?
ReplyDeleteOh, dear friend I am always thinking about projects. I think I even dream projects :) Life is too short to do everything I'd like to do.
DeleteHi Connie, A visit to the Crafty Home Cottage always puts a smile on my face. The progress on your new quilt is just looking wonderful. It’s going to be a beauty! Best wishes as you finish it up! Your new fabric also looks great. Connie, your comment on my sky pictures made my day. Thank you so much! All the best to you, my Eastern Washington friend! John
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by to visit. John I always enjoy reading your posts and seeing the beautiful photographs you take around the Seattle area.
DeleteLove the colors in your latest quilt!!
ReplyDeleteThe material is beautiful.
Thanks :)
DeleteA Beautiful quilt, love the colors and patterns, and it looks like with that package you have a few more heading your way, lovely spring choices!
ReplyDeleteI think that I have inherited my mother's need for staying busy. I love having creative projects going on all the time.
DeleteYour quilt is so beautiful! I love the fabrics you purchased - you will have fun with them! So many beautiful designs and colors!
ReplyDeleteNew fabric always excites me, the possibilities are endless.
DeleteOOOH that is a lovely package from Hancocks! I'd love to get that in the mail but wait! I'm trying to use 30+ years of fabrics I've collected. So, I'm only purchasing fabric I really need. (mostly backings.) I like what you've done with your quilt, or is it still a top? Or, are you going to try to hang it on point? No matter, I really like it.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful quilt. You have such an eye for color and patterns and it certainly shows in the beautiful fabrics you bought. Love the bees and flowers and, well, all of them! :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
Beautiful quilt... can't wait to see it all finished!
