New Quilt and Fabric Pack

Hello Dear Friends,

I just want to share my

latest quilt.

Here it is in the planning.

And the adjusting.

 And here it is ready

to be sandwiched

with batting and backing.

Then the quilting begins :)

I had to take a photo

at this angle, just to see

what it would look like

to make it on point.

I also received this package today.

All the way from Kentucky.

If you love fabric and have not looked

into Hancock's Of Paducah

Then you must check them out.

https://www.hancocks-paducah.com

They carry quality fabric

and their clearance sales are amazing!

Thanks for stopping in to visit.

I hope I have inspired you to

do a little stitching :)

God bless you,

one and all.

Your blogging sister,

Connie :)

  2. Hi Connie! Your new quilt is so pretty! Love the colors! And the new fabrics......wow. I can see who's in the mood for spring! I was in the mood to sew something the other day, and since all of my fabrics are packed away, was going to go to the quilt shop here, but they were closed! But today, that mood has passed! Oh well. I'm paper crafting today. I sure would like to get my UFOs done! Marilyn

    1. Thanks, it should be a lot of fun getting it all quilted. This one I'm going to quilt on my sewing machine, not by hand.

    1. Sometimes I have to hang on to new fabrics for a while before I know what I'm going to do with them. I normally don't buy them for a project. I just buy them because I think they're pretty. Then I figure out what I'm going to make with them.

    1. Dear friend I may do a lot of quilting but there are other things that I struggle with as well. Projects that I start and that take me forever to finish. It all depends on time and inspiration.
New fabric is so much fun!

  16. OOOH that is a lovely package from Hancocks! I'd love to get that in the mail but wait! I'm trying to use 30+ years of fabrics I've collected. So, I'm only purchasing fabric I really need. (mostly backings.) I like what you've done with your quilt, or is it still a top? Or, are you going to try to hang it on point? No matter, I really like it.
