Grass From Seed

Can you believe

In less than three weeks

I went from . . .

This, too . . .

This.

It's Amazing!!!

🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱

This might be my shortest post

ever, LOL

I just had to show off my

new green grass.

It's a good thing that

I planted it

just before my birthday.

I think it would have been

too much work for

a 79 year old lady,

but a 78 year old

that's another story, LOL

🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱

God Bless you All

and have a sweet week.

Your blogging sister,

Connie :)

  1. Wowzers! That is some gorgeous green grass. You must have had prime grass growing conditions! Great job. I'm not sure though. I think that some 79 year olds still have a LOT of work left in them. :-)
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

    1. I think the weather was perfect for growing grass. I've never had it take off and grow that fast before. Yes, I guess this old gal still has a little get up and go left, LOL.

    1. I know, I've never had grass grow this fast and get this thick so fast. Apparently all the conditions were just right. The weather was between 80 and 90 and I was giving it lots of water.

    1. I'm loving it. Now when I hang sheets up on the line I don't have to worry if one of them touches the ground before I have it completely hung up. When it was dirt it meant washing them all over again.

  11. My son has been trying to establish a new area of grass all summer but it's so slow. Yours went amazingly fast.

    1. Let's enjoy being in the 70s for one more year. For some reason 80 sounds a lot older doesn't it. But we're not going to let 80 get us down either :)
And a happy belated birthday to you 🥳

    1. Actually it probably helped me, because I was sick during the whole time of germination and yet I had to go outside several times a day to turn the water on and off to keep it moist. Otherwise I would have been laying around the house feeling sorry for myself. After doing all that work to rototill it and seed it there was no way I was going to let it dry out. So I threw on my bathrobe and went out and turn the water on or off, depending. It's probably the only exercise I got the whole week.

  13. Thank you so much. I think that is what we all want from our blogs, is to inspire others. Some ideas we share may not mean much , but every now and then we will inspire someone to try something new, or to think about something in a new way. Life is short and we don't want to ever stagnate :)

    1. I hope that you are too, even more so.
God has been gracious and blessed me with good heath :)
That doesn't mean that I don't have aces and pains,
but nothing that rest for a couple of days after the work
doesn't take care of. I do have to pace myself more and
      more each year :)
