  1. Sounds like a perfect weekend to me. The lasagna sounds pretty good too. I spent the day doing some cleaning so that tomorrow I can spend all day hopefully crafting

  2. Beautiful books (especially when the were so inexpensive) are wonderful to curl up with on a rainy day! Just cloudy here today, so me and my mom went "treasure hunting" and out to lunch. I didn't find anything today, but that's OK. Even just the looking around was fun. Tomorrow will be rainy here, but I'm going to an open house where different ladies are selling their homemade wares - natural candles, knitted scarves, natural beauty products, etc. Have a wonderful weekend, Connie!

  7. What wonderful books to browse through on a weekend like this. Our weather in Spokane is very similar and I'm spending it knitting and watching movies.

  10. You did find a lot of good books and I bet you will use every one of them. I baked a lasagna yesterday and it turned out delicious! Would you believe it was my first time making lasagna.

  12. Those are the EXACT books I would buy! I actually have two of them and love them.. and I LOVE Lynette Jensen. I have several of hers. Great weekend to cuddle up and browse these wonderful books.. and you found a Tilda book! wow. Has been rainy and windy here too so not doing much more than playing on the computer, reading blogs (and should be posting one of my own!).... reading, eating (of course), and a little bit of crafting and organizing my craft room.... preparing for making some Christmas cards. Kind of down in the dumps... were supposed to go to Astoria to see my son, but the storm there made us decide not to go. And oh... lasagna sounds wonderful! I bet it was! Rainy, windy Sunday here in Madras. Need to go to the store and get some comfort food! Marilyn

  13. What great books you found. I have the Victoria at Home with White book too.
I'm working on bringing in all the throws, cushions, etc. from the porch and storing them in those vacuum bags until next year.

  17. We were hoping for rain yesterday so we could tuck in and do house projects. No rain, but we made time for a few projects. And, it rained all night long. It has been months and it was wonderful to hear.

  19. Hi Connie! Here in NM we are having a little heat wave. I'm still wearing sandals!!! Hmm, this weekend I will be packing up for my big move and maybe even spending time at the new place! I'm not scheduled to close until November 4. I close on the condo (yay-sold for close to my asking price) on Monday, October 31. Yep, I'm busy doing other things right now. Through it all I've been knitting, keeping me sane.

I will have a REAL craft room at the new place. I can't wait!!!

Great find on the books, by the way.

    Hugs,
    Kay

  21. Sounds like a perfect weekend to me! I don't know for sure how I'm spending mine yet. I do know it will begin with an 8:00 AM workout and then who knows! We are getting ready to purchase the materials to begin building our porch soon so we may go do that. I am so excited to get this project started. I have been dreaming of a big porch for years. This time of year I will use it a lot!I hope your weekend is relaxing and peaceful. Hugs to you my sweet friend!

    Blessings, Vicky
