Sisters on the Fly



Hello Dear Friends,

I just got back from a trip to Oregon, 
 just in time to go out 
to the fairgrounds and meet some of the ladies
 that had come to town for a camping event.

These gals really know how to camp. 


 I don't have a lot to say in this post, 
but I thought some of you might 
 enjoy a tour of some of their 
 
delightful trailers and camping set-ups.
 
This trailer named the Betsy Ross 
 
was perfect to start my little tour.
 
Isn't it the cutest little trailer?



 Rosie The Riveter  even had a trailer.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
I hope you enjoyed this trailer tour.
It made me want to find an 
old trailer to refurbish.
I would say that these ladies 
certainly camp in high style.

    Oh Connie, how I LOOOOVVVE the "sisters on the fly"!! I've been looking at their campers on the internet for a while! They actually inspired me to buy a VINTAGE TRAILBLAZER TT a few years back. Go to my PAST POST-MY VINTAGE TRAILBLAZER TRAILER and see what I found at a YARD SALE! Truly enjoyed this POST~~~~I have a HEART for old travel trailers! You took some GREAT PICTURES! I have to go pray now so I don't become ENVIOUS! From one sweetie to another~~~~Roxie

    I read an article about these gals several years ago. How much fun to actually see the campers in person! I'm right there with ya, get an old camper and refurbish it!

    You made me laugh about your red-neck tub! It would be perfect for me too as I'm even shorter than you!!!

      Hi Kay, I'm happy that you liked the little travel trailer tour. How about that sign that one of the ladies made from the old license plates. Pretty cool, don't you think?
      We are having weather in the 100's all this week and looks like it could even go on longer than that. If you would have visited us the last two evenings . . . you would have found Steve and I out relaxing in our "Red Neck Tub". Anyone that knocks it, just hasn't tried it . . . we have a couple of in-laws that think we are nuts, but they are sweating these hot evening and we are relaxing under the stars together, cool drink in hand.

      I know . . . their little trailers are wonderful. The only thing I don't like about their group is their rules. No Men, No Kids, and No pets. Well, if I'm camping I want my hubby and dog . . . and if the opportunity to include the grandchildren presents it's self . . . well, I want them, too. I can see having a retreat with just the girl, but not every-time I want to go camping . . . just not my thing. Have a great week, Connie :)

    I love these girls! They came to my little town a few years ago and it was a party! I love all their campers, attitudes and friendship...I want to get a little camper and fix it up too!

      Yes, they really do a great job of refurbishing their vintage trailers. There are a lot of ideas in these photos, if you get a trailer to do. I wish that I would have gotten more inside photos . . . maybe another time. Have a great week, Connie :)

    Loved the tour, what creative people. Some sharp looking trailors. My daughter and son in law bought a 1960's something Shasta trailor. I am sending this post to them to take a look at. I want one now.

    These ladies know how to do it right.
    Love these trailers. I think I have seen some of these in a magazine.
    I have always wanted to get a little trailer and refurbish it to craft in, in the summer.

    Hi Connie, yep, you struck gold when you came upon the "Sisters" out Glamping...
    Margerete & Linner were the hostess' for the weekend.
    Linner's trail was the 'Betsey Ross'. I also spotted Linda's "out glamping' sign & Denise' glitter girl Aloha trailer...
    We all have the best time meeting up & glamping Up!
    If it were not for $$$ and husbands...we'd all probably be out glamping every weekend! lol!

I thought about just showing up one evening with my guitar and joining the party . . . but was not sure how that would have gone over.
