I have been on a "Kitchen Tweaking" mission the last week or so:)
I found these three containers at the Goodwill.
One was FTD, one was Martha Stewart, and the other was not marked . . .
I think that they have a vintage look about them and I love the colors.
I also made curtains for the door
and painted the lower cabinets the same color as the island.
I first painted the lower cabinets the same pale aqua as the walls,
but I think that I like the darker turquoise better.
I had paint left over from painting the island,
so it was a no-cost change:)
I purchased a range hood and a new kitchen faucet before we even got moved in,
but they are jobs that we can do this winter.
I also want to put bead-board up for the back-splash,
a new counter top and a larger sink.
These jobs can wait until January or February and the holidays are over.
By then we will be wanting to take on another project.
Something to ward off the cabin fever that always sets in during that time of the year:)
Still enjoying my Zinnias:)
Okay, the other evening we were watching TV when I jumped up and ran outside.
Steve's yelling, "what's wrong . . .where are you going".
When you see something this magnificent out your window . . .
you have just got to run and grab your camera, right?
Thank you so much for stopping by . . .
please leave a comment, I love reading them.
Have a wonderful weekend.
