Sometimes you just want a small project.
I went out to the shop
to get some hamburger out of the freezer.
Walked inside and saw Steve's scrap pile.
I love going through his wood scraps.
When I spied the bead-board I had an idea.
Went to the band-saw and started cutting.
Great little spools to wind scraps
of binding, lace, rickrack and ribbon on.
I sanded the edges a little bit and then . . .
rubber stamped them with permanent ink.
Now they can join the wooden spools
that I made last year.
Just trying to stay organized
in a cute way.
When I was in town last week I stopped in
at the Goodwill store and found this.
L.L.Bean for $5.99
I think that I might just wear it
to church next Sunday.
I also found this red hoodie.
Perfect for my new farm girl status.
See what it says.
This was also $5.99 and will be perfect
this fall and winter.
Even the label is cute :)
Well, that's my post.
I hope you enjoyed your visit
and that you'll leave a comment so that
I know you were here.
Before I say good-bye I just want to say,
how very much I appreciate all of you.
When I first started blogging
I had no idea of the friendships that would develop.
It's hard to find adequate words to thank you all
for being so supportive of me
and my little corner of blog-land.
It's a very special sisterhood and I am
proud to be a part of it,
and to call myself your Blogging Sister :)
