June 2019

Just a fast post to say
Thank you
For your prayers.
We're having a
not so fine weekend.
I just hate this chemo and cancer.

I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Let alone my sweet husband.

Please continue to pray.
It's a true blessing.

A few pictures from our yard.
The flowers are amazing this year.

The little birds have them blooming
outside their bedroom windows . . .

And so do we :)

Again
Thank You.

Connie :)

  1. Beautiful flowers, for sure. I want to live in that little birdhouse! Such a sweet front porch it has. And yes, still praying here; you are both on my prayer list. I am so sorry about the cancer and chemo and the horrible things it does to your wonderful Steve. May God's peace and strength uphold both of you.

  2. In the midst of all the pain and angst God gives you a moment to rest your eyes on the beauty that is around you. Your flowers are gorgeous. I am so sorry it is not a good spot right now for your hubby. Praying the chemo does its job and that the worst of side effects subside soon. It is so hard to watch it happen-as I well know.
    Love to you- xoDiana

If only we could take the suffering of our loved ones....it is so hard to see them so unwell. Prayers continue.

  6. I'm so sorry that your hubby and you are going through this. We are just finishing our first year as Wild Bill was given a stage 4 terminal diagnosis on June 6th of 2018. Thankfully with yours and others prayers we have made it almost through the year, with less hair and weakness, but we're still here! Hoping all our prayers will be answered for your hubby. Those beautiful flowers hopefully will be a premonition of good things to come and a beautiful future for you both!

  17. HI Connie- It is the 2nd Day of WINTER here and very dry and cold too. I wish I lived closer to you so I could pop around to your place with a nice yummy cake- perhaps cheesecake or chocolate- and have coffee with you and Steve seated on your lovely sunny verandah and chat away awhile with you....that'd be good..we can imagine it though. Your photos today are very special and beautiful- the little Wrenn House with the red flowers is certainly like the Kingdom of God..a very cozy nesting place. Love and Best Wishes to you both. KEV.
