Welcome Dear Friends
&
Merry Christmas
We had a good snowfall this week,
and better than that . . .
it didn't stay long :)
Just the way I like it!
I've been making a few Christmas goodies.
I've also been working on another quilt.
Here's some of the fabric that I'm using.
Actually; I started this quilt last winter
and had it about 1/3 done
when we got Steve's diagnose.
I kind of lost interest in most
everything for a while
and put it on a shelf.
Now I find comfort in quilting;
especial with the many hours we send inside.
Notice Butchy,
he thinks the Christmas tree
belongs to him and that the tree skirt
is his new blanket.
He's always pulling it out and curling
up on it, LOL.
The mantel is decorated with
Christmas cards, many from my
sweet blogging sisters.
And many are beautifully handmade. . .
\
The weather outside may be frightful
but inside our little home
we are cozy and warm.
Wishing You All A
Very Merry Christmas
Thank you for your prayers and
your blogging friendship.
Steve & Connie :)
Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love the polka dot skates. ⛸
Hi Connie and Steve- A Very MERRY CHRISTMAS to you both -and hope you guys enjoy this Winter Christmas there- it all looks wonderful with the Snow. It was 98Deg F here today and was meant to be even hotter according to predictions- a cool southerly blew in about 5:00pm this evening and temperatures dropped. We've a hundred Bush Fires in our State of New South Wales at the moment some fires have been burning over a month or more- some large ones close to home out at Picton-Bargo- Thirlmeer area...out that way yesterday 20 Local Homes were lost during the horenderous conditions...poor Families that have lost everything in the fires..we pray for them and true -Australians are very supportive and helpful in a crisis and the Families will be looked after this Christmas....It has just gone 9:30pm and I hear RAIN outside- just faintly...what a God Send! Love and Best Wishes. KEV & CHRIS. (Campbelltown-Bradbury NSW Sydney -AUSTRALIA).

We had a light snow yesterday (the 25th) and how wonderful that was.. just enough to cover things but the streets melted so easy to drive. That's the perfect snow for me! Yours is gorgeous.. and love your gate with the skates and sign.. and the fabrics in your quilt are so so pretty. I'm glad you're working on it again.. renewed spirits and hope. You are in my prayers every night! You are so inspiring to me! Hugs.. Marilyn
