The Good & Bad of The Season

Last week I had a Christmas party to attend,

When I looked in my closet I realized

That I had purchased two

 identical black sweatshirts from Walmart.

So this was the perfect time to try

this idea that I had seen on Pinterest.

Walla!

In an hour and a half

I had a festive top to wear to the party.

I also found this idea on Pinterest,

for the deviled eggs that I took to the party.

They turned out so festive!

Easily decorated with

parsley and pomegranate seeds.

I took these to a Thanksgiving Day potluck

also an idea from Pinterest.

They we're a big hit with the children.

🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄❤️🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

The holidays bring out the

Good & Bad it people.

I don't like talking about negative things

on my post, but I do want to warn

you all of scams that are out there.

I had my computer hacked

and the result was having to

take it in and have it wiped clean.

First freezing all of my accounts.

Then closing them

and opening new ones.

It was a mess,

but so far no monetary

problems have occured.

🎄🎄🎄🎄♥️🎄🎄🎄🎄

So do be careful,

these hackers were pretending

to be from Microsoft

and ready to help me

with my problem,

and I fell for it.

Don't trust them unless

you're the one who does the

initial contacting!

🎄🎄🎄♥️🎄🎄🎄

I'll end my post with that.

🎄🎄♥️🎄🎄

Have a wonderful Christmas

and may

 God Bless You All

🥰

You're blogging sister,

Connie.

  1. The sweatshirt is adorable!
I love the deviled eggs ideas too.
I've been getting lots of crazy messages about trying to get packages to me, and of course they want my info. I'm sure this is a good time to try that with so many packages being shipped. I'm sorry you were hacked.

    1. Thank you for your sweet comment about my sweatshirt and eggs. Also thank you for your sympathy, these people work harder at robbing other people than they would if they just get a job themselves.

  2. Love the sweatshirt idea! So clever!! I bet no one else had one like that!! And the deviled eggs ideas are both really cute!! I'm so sorry about your computer being hacked. I've been hacked on Facebook a couple of times lately and it's so frustrating. I have to change my password each time. I wish people would find something important to do with their time instead of making like difficult for people. Thank you for the warning! I do hope you also have a blessed and wonderful Christmas!

    1. Thank you so much. I do enjoy the Christmas season. It's just a shame that so many crooks are out there to try to steal what others have. I think it would be so much easier to just get a job.

  3. Hi Connie! Thanks for visiting me today. I always enjoy seeing your comments come over. That sweatshirt idea is so great. I have no imagination to think of things for myself, but I just may be able to do something like this someday. I'm sorry about your computer. Our bank acct was hacked a couple of years ago. We have no idea how it was done but we had to do the same thing with both my laptop and Dennis's computer. Then had to change all of our accounts. What a pain. I just don't understand people. Our understanding is that the people who did this to us weren't very professional. The bank said they had their IRL and it would be turned over to the police. I hope they caught them.
    Take care my friend.
    Blessings and love,
    Betsy

    1. Hi Betsy, I always look forward to reading your comments as well. Your ability to crochet and knit amazes me and how many projects you start and finish in a year. I imagine you're knitting needles moving so fast that smoke is coming off of them, hee-hee.

  4. Hi Connie ... love how you have jazzed up your sweatshirt - what a wonderful idea. I might even pinch your idea for the eggs - we are having a HOT (weather) christmas here at the bottom of the world so it will be lots of salads & things & your egg platter looks amazing. I am so sorry to read your computer was hacked - it is happening here too. Take care Connie xx

    1. The Christmas egg dish was very easy to do and it did look very festive. You'll have fun doing it and I'm sure you'll get raves about it, just as I did at our party.
      Merry Christmas!

  5. Thank you for the warning about scammers. I do try to be careful.
I love how you transformed your plain black sweatshirt into such a festive one. Being a non-sewer I can hardly grasp how one would do that. And those eggs...both the cute Thanksgiving ones and also the Christmassy ones are so appealing. I only wish I liked eggs :(
Thank you for the Christmas wishes. I hope your Christmas season will be a blessed one too.

    1. Thank you for telling me who you are when it shows you as anonymous. It was doing that with me for a while and then just fixed it's self :) Thank goodness because I had no idea how to fix the problem myself.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas ❄️🎄❄️

  9. Oh Connie, I'm sorry you were caught in a scam. Those nasty people pretend to be so helpful. I just wonder what kind of lives they live knowing that they are treating people so poorly. How do they sleep at night?
Cute sweatshirt for the party. And cute devilled egg plates.
Merry Christmas, Connie, and blessings for the year ahead.

  10. Thank you, Connie, for sharing this important warning, especially during the holiday season when scams seem to increase. I’m so sorry to hear about your experience—it must have been such a stressful ordeal. It’s a reminder for all of us to stay vigilant and cautious about who we trust online. Your advice about initiating contact ourselves is so valuable. I’m glad to hear no monetary issues have arisen so far, and I hope everything continues to stay secure. Wishing you a peaceful and joyous Christmas filled with blessings and positivity—you truly deserve it. John ❤️🎄

I'm so very sorry about the scam. My husband did that once! He fell for it hook, line and sinker! We immediately went in and closed that account!
I'm at my son's house right now, just going to eat dinner. I had such a blessed day. Hugs to you!!! Marilyn
