    1. Hi Betsy, I went to a gospel singing tonight and then I have Bible study tomorrow morning and luncheon with friends in the afternoon. That's about all the celebrating I'll be doing. In the evening they'll be a lot of fireworks going off so I'll just let Beulah cuddle up next to me because she is very frightened on 4th of July.

  5. Hi Connie! And Happy 4th of July to you too! Love all the red, white and blue in this post! Your house looks so pretty all decked out with the flags. We are so lucky to still (mostly) have our independence... I believe we, as Americans, are still very very fortunate to have what we do, and to be able to have the freedom to do what we (mostly) want! Hoping you have a great weekend and stay cool and safe. It's so dry everywhere.. I went to central Oregon last weekend and there are so many small fires there, and one huge one that came very close to my sister's newly built (in the process) house! If I were her, I'd get out of that area.. it's way too hot and dusty. I hope, with all or your farm fields and crops, you don't have so much dust where you live! Take care and enjoy the holiday... thinking of you always dear friend! xoxo Marilyn

    1. Is this the same sister that had her house burn down a year ago. I think I'd be wanting to build in a different area too. Happy Fourth of July, and stay safe :)

    1. Yes that field is right across the street from me and I love looking out at the hay. They just bailed it yesterday. They usually get from 3 to 5 cuttings a year off of that field.
