My potholders were getting worn
and stained so it seemed like a great
time to make some new ones.
After making them, I decided
to use the same patterns
and embroider two new
dish towels to match.
I haven't used the embroidery device
on my sewing machine in a very long time.
These patterns were in the memory
of the machine and came with it,
but I have many patterns
that I have purchased, that I am
now having trouble downloading
into my machine.
I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
If anyone has an idea
I would greatly appreciate
your input.
I'm wondering if I forgot
how to do it,
or if because of technology
it's all obsolete.

Anyway; I did have fun
taking a break from making gifts
to making something for myself.

I do enjoy pretty things
in the kitchen:)
Well that's my latest post,
Thanks for stopping by ☺️

Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

Aww, how pretty. And to think you can do that on your sewing machine these days. :) Takes me back to my early days at home with my mother. We hand embroidered a lot of tea towels. It was a good way to keep me entertained, too, because I loved all the cute designs available. And in the pre-dishwasher days, we used a lot of towels.
ReplyDeleteBlessed Christmas, Connie.
I'm the dishwasher around here, so these will be getting a lot of use 🥰
DeleteI'm afraid I'm no help with downloading your patterns. Your potholders and tea towels are very pretty though!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mari and thanks for leaving a comment. I'm going to keep trying, if it worked before it should still work. I hope I can get it figured out.
