Pot Holders & Dish Towels

My potholders were getting worn

and stained so it seemed like a great

time to make some new ones.

After making them, I decided

to use the same patterns

and embroider two new

dish towels to match.

I haven't used the embroidery device

on my sewing machine in a very long time.

These patterns were in the memory

of the machine and came with it,

but I have many patterns

that I have purchased, that I am

now having trouble downloading

into my machine.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

If anyone has an idea

I would greatly appreciate

your input.

I'm wondering if I forgot

how to do it,

or if because of technology

it's all obsolete.

Anyway; I did have fun

taking a break from making gifts

to making something for myself.

I do enjoy pretty things

in the kitchen:)

Well that's my latest post,

Thanks for stopping by ☺️

  1. Aww, how pretty. And to think you can do that on your sewing machine these days. :) Takes me back to my early days at home with my mother. We hand embroidered a lot of tea towels. It was a good way to keep me entertained, too, because I loved all the cute designs available. And in the pre-dishwasher days, we used a lot of towels.
    Blessed Christmas, Connie.

  2. I'm afraid I'm no help with downloading your patterns. Your potholders and tea towels are very pretty though!

    1. Thank you Mari and thanks for leaving a comment. I'm going to keep trying, if it worked before it should still work. I hope I can get it figured out.
