I’ve been doing a little December
tweaking around the house.
This garland is hanging in my kitchen
window.
No, I didn’t make it . . . I wish
that I could say that I did.
It’s so
cute :)
I changed the message on the kitchen chalkboard
I when out to the apricot trees
and trimmed a few branches to make
a Star of David for my dining room wall.
Added a little
red here and there.
Made a little throw pillow.
Enjoyed the
tree
And have been enjoying visiting the mailbox
and receiving cards and family letters.
It is such a wonderful time of the year:)
Wishing you a lovely week.
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
Your looking very festive there. Love all your decorations.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ann . . . it is wonderful having you stop by and visit. Here's wishing you a lovely Christmas :)
DeleteSo much lovely, but my favs are the twig star and your tree. Your tree looks so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, Thank you . . . each year we buy or make a new ornament for that year and we also pick up an ornament when we take a trip. That way each year when we decorate the tree it brings back memories. This may be very useful as we get older and our memories get fewer, LOL. This year's ornament is a little picture frame with a photo of Steve and I removing the "For Sale" sign on our bungalow :) Then when our granddaughters were here the youngest made Steve and I each an ornament. These will become part of our Christmas treasures :)
DeleteHi Connie,
ReplyDeleteVery cute bunting - and yes, you could absolutely make some of that! Love the pillow you made and the Star of David from your tree branches. I received your Christmas card - thank you. I really enjoyed the letter and seeing your new home from different angles. Your craft barn looks huge! I'm hoping to mail mine out tomorrow.... yikes! I've lost a week somewhere.
Hugs,
Kay
Hi Kay, Oh, this time of the year time seems to fly by and there is so much going on. Here's wishing you the very best Christmas ever. Keep smiling :)
DeleteConnie, welcome to my blog! I have been watching for #100, but I have a long way to go compared to your following. I'm in the middle of trying to make some changes to the format of my blog, and perhaps add some other pages, but I do enjoy trying to find things to photograph and write about every day. Obviously from your blog, you are one crafty lady! My wife spend most of her days in her sewing studio, making quilts and other fabric arty things.
ReplyDeleteHi Gnome, Does your wife have a blog? I would love to visit and see what she makes :)
DeleteThanks for the visit! Your tree is very pretty! Nice to meet another Connie! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I didn't realize that your name was Connie . . . well, I always say that I had never met a Connie that I didn't like :)

Hi! You have been busy decorating and enjoying the Christmas season! I really like that swag even if you did not make it!! Are those Christmas cards pinned with clothespins there? Clever idea! This didn't come up on my blogger side bar list so I am glad I clicked on it anyway and found what you have been up too. Nancy
