Wishing all of my blogging friends
A Very Happy
First Day of Spring :)
Is my box of hexies . . .
half full or half empty?
And which is better?
Investing what you have in a better way
or
hoarding it until it is dusty and old?
As most of you know,
we are going through a troubled time.
Many of you have been praying for us,
and for this we are truly grateful.
Thank you and please
keep us in your prayers.
If my heart is broken,
I'll find God right there;
if I'm kicked in the gut,
He'll help me catch my breath.
Psalm 34:18
That is where we are at . . .
Our faith is strong and we are
trusting in His wonderful love.
Have a sweet day!
Connie :)
I love hexies Connie, and I wonder what you will be making?
ReplyDeleteAs you know, you are in my prayers.
Oh Connie! I don't even know what to say...I am so sorry that you are dealing with so much with your wonderful, handsome husband right now. It is just heartbreaking to me. You KNOW that I am keeping you in my prayers and please keep me in the loo because I care.
ReplyDeleteI choose to think of things as half-full because otherwise I would just not have the strength to go on sometimes. MUCH love to you- xo Diana

ReplyDeleteThink of you often and I keep on praying.
ReplyDeleteYour hexie box looks very cheerful. Life is a glass half full and abundant as far as I'm concerned! :) Keeping you both in my prayers, and sending as much healing energy as I can muster!! xxx
ReplyDeleteAfter you showcased your hexies last blog post, I went on a search as to how to make them, with or without paper piecing. They look so fun to make! Your bright colors are so cheerful and fun.. and I think I would just love looking at the piles of them and not make anything! Of course your cup is half full.... you always have room for more love from everyone! As always you are both in my prayers.. every single day. I think remaining positive is so beneficial... and think with good intent, as I'm sure you do. Hugs to you... and will be awaiting your finished hexie project. Marilyn
ReplyDeleteOh Connie, you are doing a beautiful job with these, I have always wanted to do a Hexagon quilt but haven't done it yet, I need to take out the time and do that :) You and Steve continue to be in my prayers every day, my God keep you strong and peaceful!

ReplyDeleteHi Connie!
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful blog and I see we have a lot in common and taste. Keeping you in my prayers.
These are beautiful! I can remember my grandmother having doilies and table runners that she had made out of what she called 'yo-yo's' back then. They were like the hexies and made out of scraps of leftover from flour sack dresses she had made for herself and her children. I wish I had some of those doilies now. Prayers and blessings over you and your family! <3
ReplyDeleteHI Connie, We are sending many prayers to you and your husband. We love your hexies with the bright, cheerful colors. We pray that each day brings blessings to you both. Cyber hugs from your cyber buddies, Marina and Daryl Lynn :-)
ReplyDeleteI love what you've created with your half-FULL container of hexies! The heart is gorgeous! My prayers continue to be with Steve and you that the Lord will give you the strength, grace and peace in this difficult time you are going through!
