It's okay to call me crazy,
I have three projects
that I'm working on
and ready to start a 4th.
I just can't seem to figure out
what I want to do
with any of them
to make a finished piece.
Hopefully taking time to think
about it will bring me
to a conclusion.
I do hope you're all
having a wonderful day
and that you're not
as scatterbrained as I am.
Grace be with you all.
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
I am already in love with your pieces. love the details and the craftsmanship....Awesome! Blessings.
ReplyDeleteYou're too kind, but thank you.
DeleteI won't call you crazy. These are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHm...is Ball spelled out with thread? Okay, you're crazy! 😂😘
Yes ball is spelled out with thread :)
DeleteIt's looking really nice! I'm sure you'll figure out what you want and it will all come together!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so. Right now I'm not so sure.
DeleteOh I always have a few projects going at the same time too. If you are scatterbrained so am I. :)
ReplyDeleteTwo birds of a feather :)
DeleteI love the final picture! Especially the little Bluebird! That makes it extra special to me, since we have bluebirds here working on building their nest finally. (I think!). Very sweet design. You are very talented!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it, I just look at it and see things that I wish I'd have done different.
DeleteNot crazy at all. I've had multiple projects going on at the same time before. I'm sure however you choose to finish them they will be spectacular.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet :)
DeleteI don't think you're scatterbrained; I think you just have so many good ideas in your head that sometimes it's hard to concentrate on just one thing! I love this with the Ball jar and colorful flowers.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I'm really not that happy with it. Hopefully I can tweak it a bit here and there until I am.
DeleteOh, Connie! I admire you using your many talents to create beauty.
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you . . . I like keeping my hands busy.
DeleteHello Connie....I think you are very talented and creative! Your handiwork is very beautifully done. Thank you so much for your visit and comment on Writing Straight from the Heart. Always such a delight to see you have stopped by. I have known you through your blog for many years now. Have a beautiful day today, dear blog friend.
ReplyDeleteWow, thank you, you're very kind.
DeleteIt's so pretty! I hope you realize how talented you are when you create such lovely pieces!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I am overwhelmed with these comments.
DeleteHi Connie! How pretty that is. I would never think of making it as I don't have much of an imagination. I'm a direction follower but don't come up with things on my own much. I hope it's warming up for you there like it is here in Nebraska. Take care my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I'm more of a design as I go girl. I have people say, "you should make patterns and sell them", but I could never stop to figure out a pattern; that would take all the fun out of it. 😊 It was so pretty today that I got outside and worked in the yard for around 4 hours. The sun felt so good :)
DeleteIntriguing. We will all be "watching this space" to see what you come up with on these projects.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm curious to what I'm going to do them too, LOL
DeleteYour flower arrangement is so pretty, would make a pretty wallhanging or framed picture, or if it is big enough a small lap quilt
ReplyDeleteI hope I figure out what I want to do with it soon. Before long I'll be spending all my time outside in the yard and my sewing will have to get put on the back burner.
DeleteIf you're having a good time with your projects, that's maybe the purpose of them. Using your creativity.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree. If this ever gets to be a chore it's time to quit.
DeleteYour projects all look very lovely. It's a bit frustrating to not know for sure what to do. I imagine just posting about it has helped you come up with a plan for them. You are such a wonderfully creative person! Many blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet, and many blessings to you as well, God bless you dear sister.
DeleteLove, love, love those flowers! Especially the bleeding hearts and foxgloves, two of my favorite flowers in my gardens. Wish I was so talented!
ReplyDeleteIt's not hard to do, just one step followed by another, and a other. Thank you for your sweet comment.
DeleteI haven't done any embroidery for years and years. But I knit every day. I'm not telling how many projects I have on the needles :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean . . . I sometimes get bored with a project or it becomes stressful and I just need to have a couple more going to fall back on. One of the good things about having hand-sewing projects is that I can watch TV and work on a project and it takes away the desire to snack while watch TV.
DeleteNot crazy at all to have more than one project going, it's what keeps us from getting bored with just one;)
ReplyDeleteAmen!
DeleteHi Connie.. I miss this post and a newer one too! You sound like me... I'm so scatterbrained too! too many projects going all at once, and I get bored with one and then go on to the other.. never finishing any of them! Your quilt looks darling.. love all the little flowers and the Ball jar! You are so creative! I say... you go girl and have as many projects going as you want to! You do YOU and whatever you want is just fine. That talent is just spilling out all over.. that's all it is! Hugs.. Marilyn
ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet. I do enjoy having several things going at once because sometimes you get frustrated with what you're working on and then you can take a break and go to something else. Sometimes all it takes is a break and then when you get back to the first project you're ready to go again. Life is short so why not do all that we can.
