I picked some flowers
for the table yesterday.
Then I walked around the yard
taking photos.
Some of my succulents
are starting to show off :)
These last three flower photos
are some I purchased at
Home Depot . . .
I'm waiting until next week
little greenhouse/potting shed.
I just finished giving it a fresh
coat of paint.
I actually still have paint
on my fingers as I type this, LOL.
Now, that is what you call
a dedicated blogger!
I'm thinking about planting
California Poppies & Thumbelina Zinnias
in the box and basket this year.

I do hope that you are all
enjoying your weekend,
May the Good Lord bless you
and
fill your heart with joy.

Your blogging sister,

Your Spring blooms are looking so cheery and beautiful! We have one daffodil blooming, more to come!
ReplyDeleteYour planting shed and bike look cute!
Thank you Mari, I have a long list of spring projects, but I'm checking them off a little bit every day. I literally rest on Sunday . . . this was not always the cast but now that I have all the work on me, I can see why the Lord gave us a day to rest . . . it could have to do with my age as well, but I need it! After church I usually eat leftovers and take a nap.
DeleteLinda Chapman here! Are we already friends? If not we WILL BE! I think we are kindred spirits!!!
ReplyDeleteI think so too . . . yes I've been following your blog for a long time :)
DeleteOh, Connie. I am Rebya (the Y is silent). yours is my favorite blog to follow. WOW! Talk about God given talent. I live close to San Antonio. My hubby met me in Texas when he was in the A.F. in 1963. He went to many countries over the years and the children, and I lived in the Philippines and Berlin, Germany. Please keep sharing your talents! God bless!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comment and tell your husband that I said "Thank you" for his service to our country, I consider all service men and women to be heroes.
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Connie... Your flowers are beautiful, your yard is beautiful and LOVE your little white shed and the white bicycle! You are so handy with that paintbrush. My shed needs painting! Wish we lived closer... I need someone to inspire me! How pretty that will be to have flowers in the bicycle basket and box. I can tell you are totally enjoying being outside and making your place as wonderful as ever! Hugs... Marilyn xoxoxoxoxoxoxox
ReplyDeleteThanks. I have drip lines set up for the flowers in the boxes on the bike, I sure hope they do well this year. For some reason last year wasn't the best.
DeleteHi Connie. How sweet that you visited. Thanks. Love your daffodils and your tulips! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteBeautiful blooms. That bike will look amazing with the flowers you are going to plant in it.
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope so, thanks!
DeleteSpring is a happy time of year. Your blooms are looking great.
ReplyDeleteI love walking through the garden centers, but can't afford much at today's prices. I am starting many flowers from seed this year.
DeleteYour Daffodils and Tulips are so pretty. As soon as I've visited my fav. blogs I'm going outside to see what's blooming today. Maybe I'll bring some in for my table too.
ReplyDeleteI like your little garden shed. It's just the right size! And the bike basket will look great with any kind of flowers but especially poppies and zinnias.
Thank you. I planted those daffodils because I have gophers. I used to have tulips planted out by my fence along the road and the gophers ate them all then I read that daffodils were poison to gophers and that they would leave them alone. So far, all of my tulips up by the house are okay they must be afraid to get too close to the house but they sure feasted on them out by the road. Nasty little boogers.
DeleteWhat lovely spring flowers, Connie! Your little potting shed and painted bike look wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
Liz xx
Thank you so much. The paint was starting to peel on the garden shed so it was time to scrape it and give it a fresh coat of paint.
DeleteSuch beautiful flowers, they really do lift the spirit. Great painting projects too. I cant be trusted with messy things like paint or glue!
ReplyDeleteOh I have several old shirts and pants that are dedicated to messy jobs. I tend to get it all over myself.
DeleteLove your flowers! Your refresh painting work is excellent! Keep up the great job♥
ReplyDeleteI love paint, it's the biggest bang for the buck when you're freshening things up around the house.
DeleteHow lovely your flowers are! I love your little greenhouse! Your bike looks great! Here's wishing you a pleasant Easter holiday!
ReplyDeleteThank you and the same to you I do hope your Easter is wonderful. Our church is having Easter Sunday in the park this year for the whole town so I'm very excited about it.
DeleteYour flowers are all looking just beautiful, and looks like your grass is nice and green! Your greenhouse looks so fresh with that new coat of paint, your flowers sound like they will be a pretty touch to your bike!
ReplyDeleteI hope I didn't plant the flowers too soon, because sometimes we still get frost this time of the year but the predictions are good. It would be nice to have a head start and have them blooming sooner than waiting until later to plant them.
