I've been digging through the rock pile . . .
to add interest to the front path.
I'm almost half done.
I'll take a finished photo
when I'm done.
After yard work . . .
We like taking a nap 😴 around here.
🥰
Hee-Hee
There will be no photos
of my nap 🤪
Wishing you a lovely week.
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
Hi Connie, thank you for visiting today. I want to say I love rocks. I love them around flower beds and walk areas. I like the way this looks with you putting them around steppingstones look forward to seeing when finished. Is your doggy part poodle? So cute lying there napping.
ReplyDeleteShe's 3/4 poodle and 1/4 lab. She's a sweetie 🥰
DeleteI think that's lots of hard work and you deserve a nap! But it really looks nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I finding that the older I get the harder and longer my projects become :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks fantastic. What a great idea. How do you keep the smaller rocks from moving?
ReplyDeleteBeulah looks so sweet all curled up taking her nap
Well I anchored them in the best I could, time will tell whether they move or not.
DeleteYour path is going to look really good Connie.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I thought I could do this, this year and if I have enough energy I might do a little more next year and try to fill the path in. The older I get the less energy I have.
DeleteWe will never run out of rocks here at Happy Trails. :) We use rocks in lots of projects.
ReplyDeleteI love anything that uses natural materials. Your rock bridge and your natural fence are both gorgeous.
DeleteYou're right!! The round stones placed around the squares add a lot of interest!!
ReplyDeleteThanks it's always good to get a second opinion especially when they agree with you, Hee-Hee.
DeleteYour poor dog is exhausted after all that hard yard work!
ReplyDeleteYes she is, it's very tiring watching Mama work.
DeleteThe walk way is looking great. I know its not easy lugging the rocks around. You always have everything looking neat and beautiful. Enjoy your Spring
ReplyDeleteThank you, it will be more enjoyable when my list isn't so big . . . not that I don't enjoy the work, I do, but the older I get the harder it is. I still enjoy working in the garden though . . . The rewards are amazing.
DeleteAwwww...sweet dog.
ReplyDeleteYes, she is :)
DeleteYour path is going to look fabulous Connie, a very creative design. After all that work you and your lovely dog deserve a long nap.
ReplyDeleteLiz xx
Those naps felt really good, LOL.
DeleteOh that looks great, you always have such great ideas on transforming your areas and making them look new. Yes naps are very good to take :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, that's very sweet.
DeleteI always enjoy rocks!
ReplyDeleteMe too! When I was a kid I was always bringing pretty and unusual rock home.
DeleteYour new path looks great, Connie. I love stepping on tiles or stones set in the earth, or water. Naps are a great way to rejuvenate.
ReplyDeleteI never used to be a nap taker, but that has changed in the last year or so :)
DeleteI love how the rocks look aorund your blocks. Sure does add interest! And yes.. we must have our naps after working outside all day! I never used to take naps.... does sitting in my recliner dozing count as a nap? hee hee...... Marilyn
ReplyDeleteMy recliner is where I take 99% of my naps :)
