Shabby Chic Rag Stool

I wanted to dress up my plain old stool, 

give it a little shabby country chic, 

and a little bit of whimsy.  

 I did it by tearing strips of fabric 

into rag strips and wrapping 

them around the legs and 

then letting the ties show.  

 I don’t know about any of you 

but I really like how it turned out.   

I think it adds a bit of fun to the studio.  

 I love digging into my scrap pile 

and making use of all my left-over’s.   

Oh, painting the legs was an afterthought; 

I would suggest doing it first instead of 

at the end of your project, 

like I did.
