Strumming & Singing

I just want to take a moment to wish
all my readers a bright and happy day,
and to let you know about
“Strumming & Singing”.

That’s the name of my new blog.
It will be a weekly post containing a song,
 with chords and lyrics.
If you like to sing or if you play guitar
or any instrument and play by chords,
this will be a fun place to fine new songs.

I’m only going to be posting easy playing songs,
so if you are a beginner . . .
this should be a great source of music.
Have a great week  . . .
go to my complete profile and click on Strumming & Singing.

Let me know what you think.

Just keeping a song in my heart,
Connie

    1. Hi Susie, Thanks for stopping by and I hope it will be a good site for your son. It depends on the music that he wants to play and how advanced he is. I also taught myself to play and I had a hard time at first finding easy songs, that weren't silly and monotonous. So I just wanted to make a place to find some great old songs that are fun to play. Have a great day and thanks so much for visiting. Connie :)

    1. Thank you Anna. I taught myself and if you download a basic chord chart, you can too. All it takes is having rhythm and lots of practice. Have a great day. Connie :)

    1. Oh My! I wish that I could play the spoons . . . they say it isn't hard, but I can not seem to get it. I think it makes a wonderful addition to many country western and folk songs. Have a marvelous week, and thank you so much for popping in for a visit. Connie :)

    1. Thank you Jill. I'm sure it will be a blog that is not visited by many, but if it can be of interest to some, then I'm happy to be sharing. It is just that when I started playing it was hard to find good beginner music. Have a great week, and thanks so much for stopping by. Connie :)

    1. Hi Roxie, I don't think it will gather many followers, but if it helps a few people find some good songs . . .it's worth it. It is hard for beginners to find good music, and if you don't have something new to learn it soon gets boring and the fun runs out. Guitar is fun and not hard to learn as long as you practice and it stays fun. Have a great week and thanks for the encouraging words. Connie :)

    1. Hello there, and aren't you sweet. I hope there are a few that enjoy this new blog. I know that it is not for everyone. When I was beginning it was just hard to find easy playing songs, even when I went to sites that claimed that their songs were easy . . . I would think . . . easy for who? Thank you for your sweet comment and your encouraging words. Connie :)

    1. Hi Genie, it is such a delight to have you visit. I hope that you do give it a try. If you play other instruments, you'll probably pick it up incredibly fast. I love guitar for its portability . . . it so easy to take with you and have for camping trips and front porch sing-a-longs. Thanks again for stopping by, it is wonderful to see your smiling face. Connie :)
