November's Frosty Morn

I woke up this morning and as I was making coffee,
I looked out my kitchen window to this beautiful frosty site.

I love seeing frosty white trees against blue skies.
It is such a still and quiet morning.
Steve is still in bed and so is Butchy.
Our daughter and granddaughters left yesterday,
and called last night to let us know that they were safely home.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving,
surrounded by those we love most.

God bless you all
&
Have a beautiful Sunday.

  3. Hi Connie,

Beautiful frosted trees! It's been unseasonably warm here - and dry. We didn't have our monsoon season and now there's only one ski area open in the State. Most places are open the week of Thanksgiving, at the latest. Glad you had a nice holiday.

    Hugs,
    Kay

  7. We haven't had a frost like that yet. It is pretty, but I'll wait awhile. I'm still moving stuff from one house to the other!
Glad your family made it back home safe and you had a nice Thanksgiving.

    1. Hi Cindy, It must be a huge job . . . moving everything from one house to the next. It will be so nice when you're all settled in. That's what I wish you for Christmas . . . all cozy-ed in to your new home :)
Have a great week and don't work too hard.

  8. Brrrrr... It must have been chilly outside last night... Beautiful winter sky; the perfect background for the frost-adorned trees. Can't believe Thanksgiving has come and gone already... We all enjoyed the four-day break. Now on to Christmas break, in just a few weeks... Bonne semaine, Connie. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

    1. Hello Veronique, I am guessing that you have not had a frost like this on your side of the mountains, yet.
It is beautiful. Have a lovely week.

    1. Hi Sandy, yes it can! I think that this post was even a reminder to myself, of just how beautiful it can be.
I am by nature not a winter person. I enjoy the warm days of sunshine and tee shirts, but winter has it's beauty. For the most part, it helps me to appreciate spring :)
      Have a wonderful week

  10. Oh, I love those frosty trees! It isn't that cold here yet. We did have a light frost on the ground this morning, but it will get into the 70's by this afternoon. I love cold weather, love to build a fire in the fireplace!
    Stay warm,

    1. Hi Dorothy, I'm sure that you don't have a lot of opportunity to use your fireplace in Alabama and that it is special when you do. I do hope that your Thanksgiving was wonderful.

  11. Connie, I honestly got a chill looking at those pictures, I grew up in Minnesota, I remember how pretty frosty trees were. So glad you had a great Thanksgiving, it is always such a relief when your loved ones get home safe and sound!

    1. Hi Carol. Yes it is . . . I love the visits, but I do a lot of praying about the travel time. I'm looking forward to your wedding pictures. My husband and I both worked eight years as photographers, specializing in weddings and high school seniors. That was a long, long time ago. I have gotten so dependent on digital cameras and auto focus that I would need a full ledge class to get familiar with real photography again. These new cameras are so nice . . . mine has all the bells and whistles, but I rarely do anything except point and click.
I guess I'm getting lazy in my old age, LOL. Have a wonderful week . . . I've bet you need a vacation after the busy life you have been living lately.
      Stay happy,
      Connie :)

    1. There is something very pure and refreshing about frost and snow.
I do prefer warm spring and summer weather, but I have to agree on the beauty of this season.
Have a lovely day and thanks for visiting.
