The Happy Anticipation of Good Things

The cross has two sides.

A crucifixion side and a resurrection side.

Jesus had to endure one side to get to the other, but if He hadn't endured,
we'd all still be left without a Savior and no forgiveness of our sins.
We all experience hard and painful times, but if we believe God’s word there is good things and good times to follow.
 If we look back through our lives we know that the hard times have made us stronger,
 more compassionate toward others, and better Christians.

Remember Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God
all things work together for good,
for those who are called according to his purpose.

 ~~~~~***~~~~~
May all your troubles and pain be taken to Christ
Laid at His feet
And may you experience the peace and love that passes all understanding.
Happy Easter Weekend.
  3. We had a dogwood tree on the lawn of the house where I grew up. Every spring, I loved seeing the blooms and hearing the story of the crucifixion told through the petals and center of that flower.
    1. Hi Teri, I love Dogwood trees. I have planted three in my yard through the years, only to have each one die. I wish I knew why . . . there must be something in my soil. They are amazingly beautiful in the spring and a marvelous reminder of the story of the cross. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Inspiring words Connie and very close to my heart. We are going through rough times battling cancer. Hubby was diagnosed in October last year. We have laid our troubles at the feet of the Almighty and we believe that peace and contentment will come our way again.
    Thank you!
    Happy Easter!
