Sorry . . . I am still half asleep . . . I thought you met the name of the boat . . . yep, the first time we take her out will be her maiden voyage, with us . . . and what a happy day that will be :)
Hi Connie, So glad you found me, thanks so much for stopping by and following. I am now following you and can't wait to catch up with your adventures. You are obviously a resourceful and talented lady. I love what you did to those chars in your last post. Great to meet you. Di X
Hi Kelly, we will probably never take it out to sea . . . but "Out To Lake" is our intentions, LOL. We live about 3 miles from a very nice lake for sailing, and will be checking into getting a slip to moor her in the next week or two :) Thanks so much for stopping by, we love hearing that she looks amazing :)
The work you are doing on the Gypsy Rose is amazing! About the chairs in the last post--for rockers I would focus on the nursery set, moms who are looking for chairs to sit and nurse their newborns. Pinks, blues and greens.
Hi Willow, and thanks so much for your in-put . . . I appreciate hearing what sells. It will be fun to try my hand at selling my crafts, after all these years. :)
Hello Ellen, thanks for stopping by, I am so happy that you think shes beautiful, us too, LOL We love her more and more will each days labor of love :)
Hello Dee, I'm delighted that you like her. We fell in love with her classic lines, and although she needed a lot of work, she is a little beauty. We are getting very anxious to get her in the water. Steve ordered a new winch for her keel. It should be here this week. So, that is our next project installing a new cable and winch. Then all we will have left to do is set up the mast and see what kind of repairs we'll need to take care of to make her safe. Then . . . . . . it's time to have some fun :) Thanks so much for visiting, I so enjoy getting to know you better. have a lovely weekend.
I've already been o Steve! I love that carving on the bow xxx

DeleteWhat an amazing boat! I bet that will be fun to take out to sea. I'm sure it is a lot of work to get restored, but will be well worth it in the end.
