Artists' Market Day June 8th 2013

The Lord was sweet
and blessed us with a beautiful sunny day.
For our first Artists' Market event.

See the gal in the coral tee shirt,
well that is Karyll and she restores furniture
 in delightfully happy colors.
Her booth was wonderful.
I purchased a round drop-leaf table from her
before the market opened.
That's the perks of having a booth:)

Here are some more of her projects.
I just love the colors she chooses :)
(This is the little table I purchased)

Here are even more  . . .
Don't you love that little red corner table?
I sure do . . . her "re-does" make me smile:)

This is Sharon she is a sculpturest,
and uses nature as her muse.
I wish that I had gotten better photos of some of her work,
The next time I do the market I will :)

Here is some of her work.

This is Diana, better known as Lady Di.
She makes these lovely scarves . . .

And these gorgeous necklaces.

She also brought some quilting work
done by one of her friends,
who goes by the name of Shady Lady :)

These were made by Sue.
I thought that I had a photo of Sue,
but she must have dodged the camera.
Her scarves are awesome.
Don't you love all the cheerful colors?

This is Kris.  She was our delightful hostess
and provided her charming country home for our sale.
Kris is a potter and her clay pots are amazing.

Here's a close up of some of her work:)

This is Elissa she is a delightful young woman,
who dries flowers and other things of nature,
including those long whips of kelp that wash up on the oceans beaches.
She dries them and turns them into awesome wreaths.

Here and the photo below,
are examples of her work.

I think this wreath is so pretty.

Patricia is a wonderful watercolor artist.
I am the proud owner of one of her lovely pieces.

Here are a few photos of the items
that I brought to the market.

I'm sure that some of you will recognize
some of my stuff from previous posts.

It was a fun filled day and we had a lovely turn out.
For any of you that live near by,
(or if you live on the rainy side of the state
and are seeking sunshine)
be sure to add us to your calendar.
Artist's Market will be scheduled for

    1. Hi Fran, it is going to be so much fun decorating your barge and making it cozy. I can not wait to see finished photos. I'm sure that you are planing a great "barge warming" party:) Gypsy Rose is coming along we are going to try installing the new winch and cable today. Then it's time to set up the mast and see if there is any hardware that needs replacing. We are beginning to get anxious to get out on the water and have some fun:)
      Have a wonderful week . . .Connie
