Felt Hearts & Give-A-Way Winner

Today I am excited to announce the winner of my Give-A-Way
and to show you these little felt pins that I've made
to put in with my granddaughters
Valentine's cards.

Also just a little happy reminder that
Spring Is On It's Way,
even if the weather doesn't feel like it :)

Here's my little felt hearts.
They are very simple and fun to make
while watching the TV in the evening :)

I made this one for my own coat. . .

And now
I'm very happy to announce the

  5. Oh, you know how I love your journal entries. Thanks for sharing this one. I keep telling myself spring is just around the corner, and I should not be complaining either since the weather here has been middling, touch wood. Your felts hearts are beautiful and should make people smile wherever you wear them. Congratulations also to a fellow Canadian on winning these treasures.

  8. I am so behind in visiting my friends. We were in Utah skiing and in the middle of the vacation, I participated in the Grow Your Blog party at 2 Bags Full. I just finished visiting all 595 blogs at the party and can now visit my old friends.

I sewed felt hearts all the way from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City. I made them into a heart garland when I got home. Now I have to send it off to Karen at Somewhat Quirky. She said she loves getting packages from blogger friends so I am sending her the garland. Gee, I hope she likes it.

It's been so cold for so long here, we are definitely counting down the days to spring!

    1. Hi Judith, we got our first real snow last night, but we have been having gray skies and cold weather for so long now. If wishing for Spring could possibly speed her up . . . then she'll certainly be early this year, LOL I hope you enjoy your little gift, because it is my pleasure to send it :

    1. Hi Louise, I'm happy that you like my little felt hearts :) I've been cutting fabric and getting ready to start a new quilt :) I know that when Spring gets here I'll be wanting to put away my sewing and get outside in the sunshine :) They say to make hay while the sun-shines so, I guess that means make quilts when it doesn't, LOL. Have a great day and thank you for stopping by :)
