Spring Means Work . . . So I Needed A Work Apron

Spring is right around the corner
and that means lots of jobs, inside and out.
I like lots of pockets so that I always have
 a pencil, string, tape . . . whatever I'm using handy.

So this is what I made today.
A feminine apron for a hard working gal, me :)

Keep Smiling:)

    1. Good Morning Stephanie, I'm happy that you like it . . . having lots of pockets saves me a lot of time looking around for wherever I sat something down and forgot where it was . . . I have done that too many times, LOL

  3. Looks great Connie, love the use of denim with the red and white check fabric.
Think I might be needing just such an apron, with plenty of pockets for bits and pieces.
    Thanks for the idea.

    1. Good Morning Ann, there is something about denim and gingham that just go together, kind of like apple pie and ice cream :)

    1. Thank you so much. Red checks, polka dots and blue jeans . . . seem to always work well together. Actually I didn't plan it, i just looked to see what I had that was a little bit heavy weight and that polka dot worked well. Then the gingham just seemed to be the best thing that I had for the ties.

    1. Hi Susie, if I don't have pockets, I'm always setting something down and walking off and forgetting where I left it :)

  9. Lovely. Just what I need as my current apron is looking rather threadbare! Love that you've upcycled the jean material and great idea having all those handy pockets.

    1. Hi Jacqui, I love using old jeans . . . in fact I have a couple of those plastic zipper bags that bedspreads come in . . . packed with old jeans and bid overalls. I just can't make myself throw them out. Through the years I've cut them up and made so many useful items. The fabric never wears out :) I am delighted that you like my apron.

  10. Absolutely adorable apron. I have become so dependent on aprons I feel "nekkid" without one on at home!

    1. Hi Roxie, All that we can think about is the new place . . . we'll see what the Lord has in mind for us. All we can do is wait and pray, but that's most certainly enough :) Here or there, I will have lots of jobs to do when the weather breaks and Spring shows her pretty face :) So happy that you like my apron.
