So many of my blogging sisters are into"Vintage".
There is a real charm to it . . .
and to many of us, it reminds us of your childhood.
For all of you that love vintage . . .
Well, you must love me, too.
This photo of me proves that I'm truly a vintage girl, LOL.
Keep Smiling.
Connie
Oh Connie this photo is precious!! Love it. To still have those boots! wow.
ReplyDeleteJudy
Good Morning Judy, As a child we did a lot of moving around and I feel very fortunate that for some reason my Mom never threw those old boots away. They are so worn that you can see the nails in the heels and the soles where sewn on, not at all made like today's shoes are glued together. They are a sweet little reminder of my earliest memories :)
DeleteWell you little cowgirl you. How cute. I love that you still have those boots. I see you have a hat on too. I am almost shock when I see young moms take their babies, who have very little hair out in the sun without a cap or hat of some kind. I worry they are making them sick. Blessings toyou for a great new week ahead. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Susie, I don't think that people give hats the credit they deserve. They are only thought of as fashion statements, when in deed they are a summer protector of the sun's harmful rays and a winter protector of holding in body heat, and keeping our ears warm :) I love hats:)
DeleteWhat a blessing to still have those vintage boots....aren't you lucky to be vintage? xo Diana
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Diana, I'd say it's better to be vintage than to be dead . . . those are my options, LOL.
DeleteHi Connie, This picture is PRECIOUS of you!! I LOVE those adorable little cowgirl boots and the bonnet is too sweet also!!! And of course, here you are standing in front of a vintage trailer!! What more could a girl ask for??? love, love, love this~~~~~!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Roxie, it is a precious old photo, maybe I should put it on a pillow, or something :)
DeleteYep, I love vintage and that is such a cute picture of you. Those boots like you loved them and then some :)
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Ann, Thanks for stopping by and thank you :)
DeleteAaaahhhh..so cute and I love the boots. I am a vintage girl too both in taste and age! Have a good week xxx
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Fran, it is funny that I made this post, because just yesterday Steve and I decided that we were going to stop referring to ourselves as getting old. It seems that the more you say it, the more you feel it. My grandma lived to be 95 and my Mom 100, so if that is any clue, I've got a lot of living yet to do :) Steve's Grandma lived to be 104 and when she was 100, she was still running her apartment building and walking to the grocery store. So here's to Life . . . and good health . . . and many happy years of enjoyment :)
DeleteI want those boots now!
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute and make me want to put on my black and red cowboy boots and dance.
Hi Carol,
DeleteOh, we have so much in common . . . I love cowboy boots and have two pair. One pair is so comfortable that I could wear them all day, the other pair I need help just getting them on and off . . . they are average in comfort and cuter of course, LOL Isn't that the way it goes :)
Hi Connie,
ReplyDeleteAdorable!!!! Love the boots!
Hugs,
Kay
