Breathing in Spring . . .
I can not get enough of it :)
When I was a child my grandma had
a "snowball bush" in her yard.
I don't know the real name for them,
but I am excited because our new home has one.
I was so busy working last year
that I didn't see it when it bloomed.
So this spring it was a very welcoming surprise:)
While I was in Enterprise last week
I visited the local nursery
and made some lovely purchases.
This bleeding heart.
Also a delphinium (no photo)
If it blooms this summer,
I'll be sure and takes it's picture.
and a Dark Pink Dogwood Tree.
It is going to be a beautiful addition.
When I was at the nursery they had
some cowboy boots planted just like these.
I had an old pair in the well house,
so I had to copy their idea.
This is a tee shirt that I bought for 25 cents.
It was too short, so I added a polka dot hem,
and a few circle flowers and raggy edging,
to tie the hem into the shirt.
After I wash it the flowers should fray
a little bit and I think I'll like it even more.
Hey, even if I only wear it around the house
and to work in the garden . . .
it's a great buy, right:)
When I got home last week
I was awestruck by my fading tulips.
Aren't they pretty :)
They looked so bright and showy from the road.
And I was delighted that my lilacs were still blooming.
I wish that I could give you all this bouquet
or one of these . . .
but since I can't,
I'll just wish you all a lovely
and if you live in the southern hemisphere,
a lovely Autumn Day.
God Bless You.
