Home Again

Good Morning Sweet Blogging Sisters.
We have been away since last Saturday morning,
so I have a lot of catching up to do.
That is after we rest from the trip . . .
unpack and wash our trip clothes,
and mow and pull the weeds that grew while we were away :)
We had a lovely trip visiting,
our daughter and granddaughters
and stopping at my brother and sweet sister-in-law's home
for a short over night visit on our way back home.
Following are a few photos from our trip.
 I had to take this . . .
doesn't it take you back in time.
We stopped at Multnomah Falls
on our trip home . . .
Teresa Kasner is a volunteer there
and I was hoping that it might be her day
to work the information booth,
so that I could meet her.
It was not :(
Visit her lovely blog at:
I have more photos, but they are
pictures of family . . .
so for their privacy I don't post family photos . . .
except my two sweet fellows,
Steve & Butchy.
(sorry the pictures are so grainy)

Have a lovely weekend.

Keep Smiling!

Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

  1. Glad you are back home. Sounds like a fun trip, and Beautiful!! Good grief! Is that a foot bridge way up there above Steve's head? It gives me goosebumps! It is so pretty!

  2. Welcome home Connie! Glad you had a good trip. Those falls are gorgeous.

  3. Amazing! Those are some lovely photos of your trip, thank you for sharing the beauty with us, and welcome home!

Enjoy those weeds. Ha! :) They never go away, do they?

    Joy! Debbie

  4. Sounds like you had a delightful time away visiting with family. The gas pump photo is so cool but that waterfall...oh my! Breathtaking! Love the picture of Steve and Butchy! Have a lovely Friday and weekend.

    Hugs, Vicky

  5. What a neat gas station. That's like a step back in time. Beautiful water fall too.

  6. It's always a good feeling to arrive at one's own doorstep after a time away.

  7. How nice to have some time away visiting family! That waterfall is so pretty. Welcome home...I'm sure there's a lot to catch up on after being away!

  8. How nice that you had a pleasant holiday. It must have been great seeing your daughter and granddaughters too.
We have been to Multnomah Falls a few times and never fail to find it amazing.

  9. I'm so glad to hear you got to go visit family and also got to see some of my favorite places! I do wish I'd been in the Visitors Center when you came by.. did you tell the volunteer on duty that we're blog friends? Thanks for the shout-out!! I hope you come back soon on a day I'll be there and we can have a real-time hug! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  10. How nice to get away! Welcome home! I hope your little plants in your greenhouse fared okay. It does seem like there is so much work when one gets home from vacation but it is so nice to get away once in awhile! Nancy

  11. What a beautiful waterfall! As much as I love travelling, especially to new places, it's always good to return home and get back into my routine.

  12. Sounds like a great trip away visiting family. Shame you couldn't catch up with Teresa but wonderful to get to view the falls. Have a great weekend.

  13. Looks like you had a great trip. The falls is BEAUTIFUL!

  14. That Flying A looks like a "service" station. Remember when someone came out to pump your gas, wash your windows and check your oil!

  15. Great photos, it sounds like a lovely trip. What a shame Teresa wasn't there the day you visited the Falls....but how exciting to see the waterfall, so beautiful!
    Happy weekend.
