    1. Oh, I worked nine and a half hours on it today . . . sometimes I forget that I'm too old to push myself that hard. I'm just excited about getting it done. That and then it's almost time to get the garden planted . . . Spring sure can be a busy season :)

  6. It's really taking shape, Connie. Love your bright and cheery kitchen window decor. Cute banner. I have seen wine bottles recycled into various uses. The wind chime is a clever idea. xo

    1. I know that I didn't need the chimes, but they were so pretty :) Sometime you just gave to treat yourself:) I went out at 7AM, right after Steve left for work and started working on the addition. Didn't stop until 4:30 . . . I'll bet I sleep good today, LOL. I know better that to push myself that hard at my age, but sometimes my heart and my brain get scrambled. We finished the last wall last night. So, today I got it all insulated and started doing the inside walls. I'm piecing them with leftover siding and fencing . . . mix matched, kind of a BoHo style, but because I'm using scraps instead of large sheets of drywall I can handle them myself. I'm going on and on . . . forgive me. Thanks so much for stopping by :)

  11. It's such an exciting project that it must be hard not to be out there all daylight hours working on it.
Haven't seen those wind chimes in our Walmart but I haven't spent much time out in the garden area. Must go soon.

  17. Connie, are you building the new addition yourself or is Steve helping you? It wouldn't surprise me if you were building it. I want two or three lattice panels for my playhouse at the garden and can't even get that done. :( Can't wait to see how pretty this will be. I'm so happy for you! You are amazing!!!

    1. Hi Penny, Steve and I are working on it together, then we hired a friend to put the roof on for us. At our age we don't need to be climbing on roofs, LOL. The best part for me is doing the inside and I am doing it all by myself, while Steve is at work. The walls, the ceiling and the trim; I'm using scraps of leftover siding, and plywood and then adding fence boards to the walls. It's different but I like it. I'll be sending more photos soon :)
