Have fun working! And, I love the day of the week tea towels.
Dear Connie ... have a blessed day. Hugs ♥ Teri
Hi Teri, I needed that, thank you :)
Connie- That is going to be so very wonderful!!! I can't wait to see it all done and in use. xo Diana
Oh, I worked nine and a half hours on it today . . . sometimes I forget that I'm too old to push myself that hard. I'm just excited about getting it done. That and then it's almost time to get the garden planted . . . Spring sure can be a busy season :)
What a happy kitchen window you have, I love it!! Your art barn is really coming along - you'll be using it before much longer!
Thank you . . . I stand at that window quite a bit . . . I'm one of those rare people that actually enjoy doing dishes and it's nice to have flowers in the window and a pretty view :)
Connie you must be so pleased and a little excited! It's looking good!Love those wine bottle chimes too.All the best Jan
I'm very excited . . . it's a lot of work, but will be so worth it in the end.
Fun progress! A place just for crafting! Lucky lady.Blessings,Betsy
It's very exciting :)
It's really taking shape, Connie. Love your bright and cheery kitchen window decor. Cute banner. I have seen wine bottles recycled into various uses. The wind chime is a clever idea. xo
I know that I didn't need the chimes, but they were so pretty :) Sometime you just gave to treat yourself:) I went out at 7AM, right after Steve left for work and started working on the addition. Didn't stop until 4:30 . . . I'll bet I sleep good today, LOL. I know better that to push myself that hard at my age, but sometimes my heart and my brain get scrambled. We finished the last wall last night. So, today I got it all insulated and started doing the inside walls. I'm piecing them with leftover siding and fencing . . . mix matched, kind of a BoHo style, but because I'm using scraps instead of large sheets of drywall I can handle them myself. I'm going on and on . . . forgive me. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
Nice little addition. Can't wait to see what you do with it. At one of the craft shows I di there was a booth next to us that sold all kinds of windchimes made from bottles
I'm excited and have been working on it everyday . . . I wish we had more craft shows around here. I guess we are just too small of a town :)
It's looking good, Connie.
Thank You :)
It is coming along very well. : )
We've been working on it everyday . . . it's exciting, and hard work, but well worth it in the end :)
Can't wait to see it all decorated and ready to craft in. Then will you please come decorate my sewing room????
Sounds like a fun invitation, but I'm sure that you don't need any help :)
It's such an exciting project that it must be hard not to be out there all daylight hours working on it.Haven't seen those wind chimes in our Walmart but I haven't spent much time out in the garden area. Must go soon.
I have been out there almost all day every day since we started. I spent nine and a half hours out there today. Needless to say our dinner was leftovers, tonight :) The good thing is, we like leftovers, LOL.
Clearly I haven't been over here enough. Your art barn is already giving birth to a new addition. How exciting! Now (or soon) your creativity will be given so much more free rein.
Oh, I have big dreams . . . but if you don't have a dream, how will you ever have a dream come true?
Inspirational. Love the wind chime too, a great addition.
Thank you :)
Hi Connie, How exciting to be building an addition!I love your pretty bottle chimes and your cheerful window. :)
Thanks so much :) It's nice to have you stop by and visit . . . I love the photos that you have been sharing :)
Wow! That addition looks awesome! What a fun project. I absolutely love your kitchen window. Your curtains would be perfect for my kitchen. Did you make them yourself? Those tea towels are adorable.
I did make the curtains . . . I have a very vintage kitchen so the polka dots fit right in :) I'm delighted that you like them.
the art barn addition looks like it is coming along nicely. i like the bottle wind chime - i made a bottle tree, collecting bottles from our trips. your window is decorated beautifully!! LOVE your blog!!!
You are so sweet, thank you. I certainly have been enjoy your spring garden tours :)
Connie, are you building the new addition yourself or is Steve helping you? It wouldn't surprise me if you were building it. I want two or three lattice panels for my playhouse at the garden and can't even get that done. :( Can't wait to see how pretty this will be. I'm so happy for you! You are amazing!!!
Hi Penny, Steve and I are working on it together, then we hired a friend to put the roof on for us. At our age we don't need to be climbing on roofs, LOL. The best part for me is doing the inside and I am doing it all by myself, while Steve is at work. The walls, the ceiling and the trim; I'm using scraps of leftover siding, and plywood and then adding fence boards to the walls. It's different but I like it. I'll be sending more photos soon :)
It's coming along beautifully. For me the exciting bit is waiting to see how you are going to furnish and decorate it and seeing if I can pinch any of your ideas! Xxx
The interior will be a bit different. I'm using leftover scraps and fencing for my walls and ceiling. I like how it's turning out . . . if you like the BoHo look you might like it too :)
How wonderful it's going to be to have such a special place!
Thank you, I am very excited :)
How exciting to be getting this addition! Looks great so far :)Wendy
You are going to have a nice space, Connie!
I'm really looking forward to having the work done and the space organized :)
Oh wow it is coming along wonderfully, bet your getting excited!I had not seen those charms, I bet the sun reflects off it so pretty!
Good morning Connie, thanks for stopping by. I am very excited and will probably post more photos today. I was in Walmart yesterday and the display with those chimes was almost empty . . . I'm not the only person that liked them, LOL.
