Hi Sister Bloggers!
I've just returned from a five day trip
to visit our daughter and granddaughters
in Southwestern Oregon.
When I arrived home yesterday evening
a package was by the gate
with these three lovely books inside.
A sweet gift from Nana Diana of
Nana Diana Takes A Break
Thank you so much, Diana
you are a sweetheart.
Those of you that have followed my blog
for a long time, know that I do not post
photos of our daughter and granddaughters.
You have to believe me when I say that
they are beautiful . . . inside & out :)
These are their ladies and each one lays
a different colored egg :)
Excuse the next two photos
they are scanned from business cards,
but my belated Mother's Day gift was
to meet this dear artist and tour her
charming home studio in Ashland, OR.
I'm sorry it was a surprise to me,
so I didn't have my camera with me.
The carving above was one she made from
a redwood tree that was stuck by lightening.
This is her today age 76 working on a piece of
copper jewelry. While we were at her studio
our daughter told me to pick out something
that I loved and it would be her gift to me.
Her name is Lavelle M Foos
this is her website:
I chose this copper cuff.
Copper is suppose to help with arthritic pain
and I have a lot of pain in my hands.
The native American symbols have these means:
Wisdom, strength and healing.
Protector and guardian of the earth.
Inspire the courage to fly to where
one is called.
This is a bag that I purchased in Ashland.
It made a great carry-on for the
I would have loved to show you photos
of our granddaughters.
They both had rolls in a production of
Alice In Wonderland
at a community theater.
It was so much fun and they did
a great job :)
Well, that's my post.
Have a great weekend.
Your blogging sister,
