Valentine's Day
is right around the corner . . .
so like everyone else I have had
thoughts of hearts
thoughts of hearts
dancing through my mind.
So I decided to make a new banner.
Have you had thoughts of hearts
dancing through your
creative mind?
Keep Smiling!
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
Handmade pretties indeed, the banner is a real delight. Love is definitely in the air.
ReplyDeleteYes it is . . . sweet sister :)
DeleteThat is really cute and I love your color choices. I've made a few Valentine treat holders but that's about it
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you still have snow . . . our weather is crazy. Yesterday it was 55 degrees around 6:30 A.M. before the sun was even up, today at the same time it is 32 degrees. I am wondering if the first temperature may have been a record beaker for February in our area. We sure enjoyed it while it lasted . . . Butchy played outside just about all day :)
DeleteI like that one - Declare your dreams.
ReplyDeleteI think that if we believe in our dreams, they are more likely to come you :)
DeleteThat is SUCH a cute banner, Connie! I love it---and who says hearts should be pink or red? Love the blue ones here. All my Valentine Day stuff is packed away in a warehouse...sigh...next year! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYour life has been going through so much transitions since selling your home. I know that it will feel wonderful to be settled again :) Wishing you a lovely day:)
DeleteI usually enjoy lots of chocolate hearts this time of year but I'm trying to quit! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour heart banner is lovely!
Chocolate . . . now that's the way to celebrate Valentine's Day.
DeleteMaybe allow yourself a small box :)
Your banner is simply lovely Connie! LOVE the words you stitched onto the hearts :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you. Hugs!
I'm delighted that you like it . . . you have a lovely weekend too, sweet blogging sister :)
DeleteIt's very cute Connie! :) I have hearts in my mind for sure! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's that time of year :)
DeleteYou are very talented my blog sister. Love all these little hearts.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I was just visiting your blog and that peach pound cake looks amazing. If I lived closer I would be knocking on your door, fork in hand, LOL.
DeleteSuch a cute banner.
ReplyDeleteI made a couple out of book page hearts, but maybe I should sew up a few when I get my sewing machine out today.
I love making banners . . . you can use any scraps you have hanging around and they are so fun and easy to put together. They add a little charm any place you hang them :) Have fun sewing!
DeleteSuch a cute banner Connie. And since it’s blue I wouldn’t feel I would need to put it away after Valentine’s Day! I have a few hearts strung around, but they were all made in previous years. Nothing new to show for this season. Blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeleteThe reason it is blue is because I had these blue scraps setting on the counter out in the barn . . . I just wanted a little distraction from quilting . . . so I picked them up and made this banner :) They could have been any color, LOL
DeleteSo pretty! Is that white some kind of lace? I love hearts anytime of year. We are getting snow! Does that go with hearts? LOL Have a Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you hearts are really for anytime of the year . . . there is no season for love :) That white is a stretchy lace for making headband and things like that. I had it left from another project:)
DeleteThat's so charming, Connie! I love that you went with blue instead of red or pink!
ReplyDeleteI had these blue scraps laying round and wanted to use them for something . . . so a banner seemed like a fun idea :)
DeleteThe banner is so cute! It drives me crazy that I never come up with cute ideas for any holiday, until the holiday gets here. You always have the neatest and cutest ideas. Oh Connie, I have two pretty new tops, thanks to you and the Amazon gift card. I Still can't believe I won. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThat makes me so happy . . . I'm glad that you found something you liked :)
DeleteValentine's and hearts go perfectly together, don't they. Your heart banner is so pretty. It looks lovely hanging on that pretty dresser.
ReplyDeleteThank you . . . banners are so fun and easy to make. They are just a great way to use up scraps and that is what this fabric was :)
DeleteThe heart banner is really cute.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful heart banner, Connie. I love the words you've added on the hearts. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you . . . banner are so much fun :)
DeleteHi Connie! I hope you've been well! I adore your banner. Beautiful as always.
ReplyDeleteI'm delighted that you like my banner, but even more so I am thrilled to have you visit. It's been too long sweet blogging sister. I need to put you over in my favorites list so that we can stay more in touch. Do you remember that song we learned as children, Make new friends, but keep the old . . .one is silver and the other is gold. You are the gold :)
Deletethat is just too cute, I like your little messages on them too!!
