Just a few photos
of
Our Red, White & Blue Summer.
Welcome!
I love summertime :)
Our porch is on the east side of
the house and there is a row
of trees beyond it.
That gives us shade all day
from morning to evening.
We love our porch.
Speaking of the color red & summer,
look at these.
We will be picking that large middle one
and enjoying it on burgers for dinner
tonight.
It's our first garden tomato of the year:)
Walking around the yard.
We feel blessed to own this
little acre of land.
It provides us with a little
peaceful haven from the busy world
around us.
This little sign was a gift
made by our neighbor :)
It hangs by the back door.
Happy Fourth Of July!
Remember the men and women that
are responsible for our freedom.
Keep Smiling!
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
Your porch, indeed your home is a ray of sunshine. Beautiful photos Connie of your home and little acre. Hope the burgers showcasing your first home grown tomatoes were delicious. Enjoy your 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteTFS your beautiful photos, Connie. The outside of your house and your garden always look amazing. xx
ReplyDeleteConnie, your post was a great reminder of what the 4th of July means to us. Your little acre is truly a special place to be at this time of the year.
ReplyDeleteYour house looks great all decked out for the 4th.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very lovely home! I always wished I had a front porch.
ReplyDeleteConnie, I can only dream of a place as pretty as yours. I love every square inch that you share through pictures! Happy 4th to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteGrace & Peace,

I love your porch too! Your have sure turned that acre of land into a beautiful place. I would just love to walk around in the yard with you and look at everything...and sit on that front porch!
ReplyDeleteConnie I just love your place. Your little one acre is a haven with all the flowers and garden. Thank you for sharing your little place. Very thankful to all who have serve for our freedom. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love your festive porch and I can see relaxing with a glass of lemonade on it. Happy 4th.
ReplyDeleteYes.. the land of the free because of the Brave! So well put. Your little acre is indeed Heaven on earth... I love how you've set it up and how fun to have a view of it from your porch! I love front porches. When I lived in Waitsburg, WA, I lived in a 100 yr old Victorian house with a front wrap-around porch and I loved sitting out there in the evenings on my swing, watching people walk by, ride their bikes.. or stop to say hi! I miss that here. Porches are our window to our community. I love all your patriotic colors too! Happy 4th to you too! xoxo Marilyn
ReplyDeleteThat sign by your back door made me laugh. I love your porch. It looks like such a happy place with that pretty blue floor. I love seeing all your patriotic touches. Happy fourth of July Connie!

ReplyDeleteSo nice to have a shady porch. I'd be lost without a porch.
ReplyDeleteYour place is soooo cute! I love all the sweet touches you've added and how homey you've made everything. I'd love summer, too, if I had shade all day to sit in, but alas...and there's bugs. Biting bugs. Alas! I can't love summer, but I'll keep trying because you make me want to!
ReplyDeleteLove these shots, Connie!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful property. Love all of your patriotic decorations... Happy 4th to you!
ReplyDeleteDo you ever find strangers sitting on your porch? It is so welcoming that I imagine people want to just plop in the rocker and watch life go by.
