  21. Oh so pretty! The vintage tractors made me smile! Red and white is so cheery and fun. You are amazing.. all that you do dear lady. I'm working on a strip quilt for my son's 40th birthday coming up (too soon!). Using my old scraps I've held onto for the last 40 years! I was thinking of just tearing the strips, but my sis says no you need to cut them! So that's what I'm doing, but this endeavor is beginning to be much more HUGE than I imagined! I've redesigned it from 56 12 inch blocks down to 36 12 inch blocks, with borders instead of another row of blocks! But even 36 blocks seems daunting. She has a long arm and is going to quilt it for me, bless her heart. It takes me forever to even think of and make one quilt.. and you make them as easily as you would make a small pillow or something! I see you did quilt as you go.. which I love.. and still want to attempt one of these days! Hope you are not getting the heat up there! We had 96 the last couple of days.. today is "cooler" at only 88.. and then the rest of this week HOT again up to 100 at least. And me without any air conditioning... we didn't get our window one installed yet and hubby is gone house sitting until next week! Yikes. Stay cool!!! Hugs.. Marilyn

  23. Connie, I just read your comment on my blog. You are right about driving at the Fourth of July holiday! I have never seen so many crazy drivers. Coming through the mountain passes on Sunday afternoon was absolutely horrible. It was obvious that some people had been drinking by the way they were weaving around and driving 80 mph around those curves. It was terrifying at times. I’m so glad Dennis was driving. I hope you’re having a great afternoon.
    Blessings, Betsy
