I went outside and trimmed back
my rose bushes for winter
&
just had to bring in
a last of the season
bouquet.
My roses were stunning
this year.
Not because I'm a great gardener
but because God blessed us with
perfect rose weather :)
I wish I could post
their lovely fragrance
as well.
God bless you all
and
thanks for stopping by to visit.
Connie :)
What a lovely bouquet of Roses and so late in the season too.
ReplyDeleteThose are such beautiful roses Connie. I cut back my one wild rose bush a couple of weeks ago. We've had several hard frosts and roses are done for the year here. I think yours are just stunning. Thank you for sharing them with me.
ReplyDeleteMay God Bless you and keep you, make His face shiine upon you and give you peace.
Blessings and love,
Betsy
Wonderful roses! A Joy to behold and also to imagine their sweet fragrance!
ReplyDeleteNothing is prettier than a rose bouquet in a canning jar, especially a blue canning jar!
ReplyDeleteYour roses are beautiful, Connie! xx
ReplyDeleteThose roses are beautiful. What a treat for this time of year.
ReplyDeleteMy roses have finished now, with just the odd bud appearing. What a beautiful colour yours are. It has been such a good season for roses here too.
ReplyDeleteHi Connie,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Roses- thankyou for sharing- and yes they have a delightful fragrance. My Mom had Roses - white and yellow ones. Best Wishes. KEV.
So pretty!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteWasn't it great to get such beautiful roses this late in the year? I think of you often and pray for you. I am missing my blog families. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteWe all miss you too . . . take whatever time you need to heal and hopefully one day you'll want to post again. You have much to share. You never know when your experiences can help and be an encouragement to others. There is a season for all things under the sun . . . don't rush the season, but I pray that you will find peace in walking through them. You're never alone, Jesus will never forsake us.
DeleteYour roses are just lovely! We had a hard frost and some snow so all of my flowers are gone now until spring :-( I am sure am glad that you shared yours!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Rose's indeed!
ReplyDeleteOh, those roses just might be a gift of grace to you, faithful Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteOh those roses are so very pretty. I LOVE pink roses!!
ReplyDeleteConnie, those are some of the most beautiful roses I've ever seen! I can't believe they were still blooming like that this late in the year.
ReplyDeletexoxo
I know. For the last month every time I would pick a bouquet I would think it was going to be my last of the season. These roses are on the north side of the house, so it's truly a surprise to get a November cutting from them.
DeleteWow, those roses are perfection!
ReplyDeleteOh they look so lovely and great to bring them inside to be able to enjoy them for longer!
ReplyDeleteI could smell their fragrance just looking at your pretty photos! You certainly were blessed, the blooms are perfection :)
ReplyDeleteOh Connie your November roses are so pretty! I still have a couple of my little peach roses that are blooming. I left them on the bush to enjoy outside.. I also still have white mums outside in a pot and a few pink geraniums. I think this coming Sunday night will finally be the end of them, as supposed to get to 29 here! I love the roses on your little shelf in the mason jar. So so sweet. With all the rain here and wind, many of the leaves are left the trees now, but the ones left are still so gorgeous and vivid yellows and oranges. My front yard looks very Fall-ish still which I love. Oh, and I picked 4 little strawberries yesterday and popped them in my mouth! Oh so very sweet even though not quite ripe. I think that may be the last of them as didn't see any green ones. I've never had a fresh strawberry this late in the year! Wonders never cease do they? My son is here visiting and doing for work around my place... who knew just a small house on a small lot in town could generate so much work!! We have to make 2 trips to the dump tomorrow... it all magically appeared as I cleaned out two little sheds and part of the garage (the stuff for the dump). And more to go too.. but that will be on his next visit. Take care dear friend... hugs.. Marilyn
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful bouquet of roses, and I love the blue canning jar vase. Have a blessed weekend, Connie.
ReplyDeleteLovely roses! I love to garden but I'm a little hesitant about cutting stuff back my raspberries are growing into my grapes. I'm going to have to read up on that. You my friend definitely have a green thumb. Bless your heart. Lisa @ Sweet Tea N' Salty Air
ReplyDeleteI just had to stop by and say how much I enjoyed seeing these roses.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Beautiful roses in the perfect pink rose color.
ReplyDeleteI grew roses for the first time in a long time this year, and I quite enjoyed them. Luckily, we live in an area now that wont hard freeze our rose stock back to the ground and turn them into wild roses.
Hoping that next year will be a wonderful year for roses here.
Have a lovely weekend :)
~K.
Gorgeous roses, Connie! Love that color. xx
ReplyDeleteHow are you, Connie? I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. 🧡
