I made another apron
it's my new way of always
having my phone
with me around the house
and outside.
This is the pattern
I used.
Only I rounded the bottom
hem on mine.
These are my outside
and reverse side
fabrics.
There is a lot of trimming
to do because of
the curses.
Front
And Back.
No ties 😊

While I'm waiting on
the lawnmower and tractor
to be repaired
I'm having fun sewing :)

Wishing you all
a wonderful week
and thank you for
stopping by to visit.

Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
O Connie, you made me laugh so hard with your typo about the curses that were caused by all the trimming. Meanwhile, the apron looks great and so do you💗.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it, I saw that mistake and I corrected it and then the computer must have went back and typed it again. If it brings some laughs that's a good thing . . . Sometimes computers just have to have the last laugh :)
DeleteI love it! I really do like aprons and you did such a nice job on this one. And such a good idea for keeping a cell phone handy.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a new habit that I want to create. I've always liked aprons and now with cell phones I think they are a perfect match..
DeleteThe best apron I've seen in a long time.
ReplyDeleteGee thanks :)
DeleteOh I like this one. I like the no tie part of it too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ann, it's very comfortable 😊
Deletepattern available on Amazon!
DeleteHa! I laughed about the curses too. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's cute and will be very handy!
Thanks! I can't believe it printed curses instead of curves . . . The computer changed it once and I changed it back to curves and then didn't double-check and there it was.
DeleteI like that design. So what was curses supposed to be?
ReplyDeleteOh wait, maybe curves? But curses works too.
ReplyDeleteYou hit the nail on the head in both cases, LOL
DeleteThat is funny about the curses. :). I like your apron. Nice too that it doesn't have any ties!
ReplyDeleteIt's a lesson in always proofreading before you hit publish, LOL
DeleteI absolutely love your apron. I need pockets too. Did you get the pattern online or locally? The fabrics are very much what I would have chosen too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and hugs,
Betsy
Actually a friend had the pattern and lent it to me. I told her I was looking for a pattern with the Criss-Cross back and she said oh I have one and I've had it for a long time and not made it yet. Then the next time I saw her she brought it over.
DeleteI love an apron. Yours look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteAren't you a sweetheart, thanks
Deletethat is so cute and I do like the idea of not having to tie it, nice you have something to do while waiting, so nice to see picture of you and your beautiful smile!
ReplyDeleteThanks sweetie, I rarely ever put a picture in here of myself. I liked my pictures better in my slimmer days, LOL
DeleteLove the apron! My granddaughter is just learning to sew and this would be a good project for her. Love your choice of fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI love your apron, and I especially love the Criss cross back. Perfect place to keep cell phone.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on developing my new habit of wearing an apron from morning till night mainly because I need a pocket for my phone. After my fall I don't want to be without one. I need two pockets actually one for the phone and one for dog cookies 😊
DeleteYou make such a nice model!
ReplyDeleteThis apron is adorable and what a great idea to have an apron to store your phone in! It's so hard to keep up with phones these days if you don't have large pockets. Love the pictures you shared of the apron. You always do beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteYou're so very sweet, thank you :)
DeleteThis apron is so perfect. I hate ties on most aprons, and the ones that tie around the back of the neck are so uncomfortable! This one looks very comfy. I'm going to try to find the pattern. I got rid of my 3 aprons when I moved here, but have missed having at least one. I'm such a slob when I cook anything! Love seeing you....and you look so cute with the pink sweater and matching shoes! The flowered fabric is a perfect match! Hugs....
ReplyDeleteYou can find the pattern on Amazon. Since you told me you have your sewing machine out it would be a good project :) Thank you so much for calling yesterday, it was good hearing your voice and you sounded very happy.
DeleteI think your move was actually what you needed.
