Happy Valentine's Day

I've been making paper hearts,
and sewing up some
heart shaped coasters
to decorate the house for February πŸ’˜

The inspirations for my coasters
comes from
Nana Diana
of
Nana Diana Takes A Break
(from a post back in 2017)

here's a link

πŸ’Thank you Diana!πŸ’

As well as hanging these
little hearts in the kitchen
that I made last year.

And a few
others around
the house.
πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’˜πŸ’—πŸ’—
That's the total
for my decorations.

Just a little bit . . .
to sweeten up the house.

Happy Valentine's Day!

πŸ’•Spread a little loveπŸ’•

  5. I think all of your hearts are pretty but I especially like the ones hanging from the cupboard handles. Right where you see them all the time. I've put a few things out, not much so far πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

    1. You're going through a hard time right now and I understand how you just don't feel like celebrating. Sometimes we have to make ourselves do things just to get back on the track of living life. God bless you dear friend.

  13. Hi Connie! I'm really late in getting online tonight. Just watched the Super Bowl! GO Hawks! So happy for all of my football fan friends in Washington tonight. I'm not much of a sports fanatic but it's fun to see them win anyway. :-)
I love all of the hearts around your home. Especially the sweet little coasters.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  14. I like your sweet decorations - especially the book page hearts. Valentine's is not a trigger for me, but even so, I will probably not mark the day as I will be at work! But I may make myself a nice dinner, and I'm thinking about adding a charm to my charm bracelet. (:

  16. Hi Connie.. I LOVE all your sweet hearts all over your house! The paper ones are darling! Your sewn teacup mats are darling and I love the size of them. You always work your magic with fabric! I keep forgetting the Val Day is this weekend and not alreadyy done with! I did send cards to my 2 sisters and son, that's it. Not much in the mood for it this year for some reason. No house decorations except one patchwork heart I bought at a bazaar somewhere! It WAS fun making the cards, always nice to have a reason to make a pretty card. I saw a gal on YouTube doing watercolors of a heart. I may try that as I've always wanted to learn how to do watercoloring and then line draw around the "blob" that you made! That's what she did! Made a blog of various colors that somewhat looked like a heart, then drew around it with her black Micron pen. Was really pretty! Always something new to want to learn! Hope you are having a lovely week! xoxo Marilyn
