A True Vintage Gal

 FOLLOWING IS THE LIVING PROOF THAT 
I AM A TRUE VINTAGE GAL


This is a short story of a 
True Vintage Gal.
(1945) 

How do you know that you are a vintage gal?
It is quite easy. 

You look through old vintage photographs and
 . . .
(Look at those chubby legs)

you're the main character, LOL.
(1950) 

This is my third grade school photo
(1955)

and this is my 6th grade school photo.
(1958)

If I'm looking for photos to use in vintage cards I don't have to go very far.

I just celebrated my 67th birthday
and life is good . . .
I've lived through some very hard times and some very good times.  
The bad times made me strong and helped me to appreciate the good times.  

If you have read this far,
I just want to say thank you for sharing
some of my childhood (vintage) days.

    Dear Connie,
    Love the photos! My last school photo was when I was 11 years old. The school wouldn't take any photos after that for some reason!

      Hi Kerin, I may be a little bit sassy now, but I'm afraid as a child I was very shy. Maybe not around family, but around everyone else. I was almost 30 before I ever realized that I could actually voice my own opinion and that it mattered. That was then . . . My sweet husband was the first person in my life to really make me see that I had value just as I was, and that my ideas and thoughts were as important as anyone else.       Hi Roxie, well that was a very sweet comment. I know that when I reach 97, I will look back and think that 67 was young, so I have decided to think it now instead. Some days I feel so good that I could take the bull by the horns, and other days my poor old back is killing me and I feel older than the hills. Fortunately the good day way out number the bad ones.       Hi Janet, What can I say . . . each day holds a memory . . . and each memory makes us who we are. I've done a lot of growing through my 67 years and I wouldn't trade any of them ( good or bad).
