Hi Beth, and good morning to you. I just turned on my computer and checked my blog, and I am greeted first thing with your cheerful and wonderful comment. Thank you! It's a sweet way to start my day, Connie :)
Gee whiz.. what darling make-overs you gave those old purses! I never would have thought to do that.
You are so creative!!!
Ok... so, I bought some vintage style tins this weekend at yard sales, and I would like an idea of what I should do with them now. You being the creative gal that you are... I just know that you'll have an idea :)
Hi Kerin, thank so much for stopping by, I love, love, love company. Also, thank you for your sweet comment on my "little black evening bag make-overs". Ss for your tins, I would have to see them to get an idea. I'll be over to see if you have posted them. Have you even gone to the http://bluevelvetchair.blogspot.com/ They have so many ideas . . . on just about everything. It is a very inspiring blog. Have a great day, Connie :)
Hello Denise, I love it when you visit and thanks for the sweet comment. I'm coming over to see what you're up to on your site. Have a great day, Connie :)
Hi Helen, yes I did . . . thanks to all the wonderful tutorials out there in blog-land. About a year ago I watched a few and then started using what I saw to start making my own. There are so many talent people sharing ideas. Sometimes I feel like a well soaked sponge. Have a great day and thank you for visiting, Connie :)
I think you've made them better! I often ties scarves onto handles of bags just to bring them out of boringville. Works great on suitcases too and it makes them visually easier to spot.
Hi Joni, I too always tie a scarf around my suitcase handle. At first everyone had black suitcases, so then you buy red . . . now everyone has red. Those scarves really help at the luggage turntables. Keep smiling, Connie :)
They look great, Connie. I bought a beaded black purse a few weeks ago..the beads are coming off. You've given me some ideas...hope you don't mind a "copycat". - Revis
Hi Brandi, I am delighted to get a visit and even more pleased seeing that you are my newest follower. Have fun with this idea and post your projects . . . I would love to see them. Have a marvelous day, Connie :)
Hi Susie, Great idea! It just goes to show you, that when a lot of women get together on the web, you get lots of fresh and wonderful ideas. Have a great day, Connie :)
I'm afraid that I didn't make them to use. I am going to put them in my market booth next spring. Our evenings out are usually at the home of friends, wish don't require an evening bag.
PS - Hi Connie! I mentioned you today, plus I posted pictures of a neat purse that my sis made ... I think that you will like it. Hugs to you, and have a great long weekend.
Hi Connie, Thanks for the kind comment on my blog! I enjoyed visiting yours and will return again for another visit! So wonderful to meet another creater - especially one who likes to make the old new again. Keep on dreaming and doing!
Connie, Thank you for following me (The Red Painted Cottage). My frosting recipe is so good that tonight I had one extra piece of cake leftover and didn't want to save it. One of my daughter-in-laws ended up just eating the frosting off that cake and left the cake. So there you have it...YUMMY!! I'm going to a wonderful flea market in the morning and will be doing a posting on my finds. Stay tune!
Hi Carol, Welcome to Crafty Home Cottage. I am delighted to have you as a new follower and excited about following your creative journey, too. Looking forward to a great blogging friendship. Connie :)
